You plug so well, lol, both jk and 4 real.... Lmao I will enjoy more of those if you put one in next time. Lol ok I'll stop so long as you promise not too.
Are you a Wendigo that's damn tired of shedding your human skin in big, rough, itchy patches?? Head on over to Manscape and use promo code "letsread" to slither out of that useless husk of mansuit in one go like the glorious cryptid you are! I'm like *such* a good sponsee 😁
I will always remember the story of the Hero Father - hard working as a school Janitor who gave his life and stopped the school shooter - saved the children- thank you for sharing your /his story. RIP your father bless his heart
One day maybe we'll take the psychology of men, especially young men, more seriously...they kill and die not only in schools, but many of our inner cities too.
Perfect timing considering I’m at school working my evening janitorial shift. Can’t think of any better way to get through the night than listen to some good old let’s read! Hope I don’t get too spooked out being here by myself lol
I sure hope Dewey doesn't go back to Linda. She lied to him, stole money to get in good with their daughter and left him at a low point. Getting a better job and rejecting her is great revenge.
You don’t need to know her side of the story to see she wasn’t fulfilling her wedding vows ‘through thick and thin’. There shouldn’t be any reason to lie and steal in any relationship, married or not
@@waffleplayzmc1575 I feel like we might need the full story on that one.. Dewey pulled out a gun cuz he was drunk! Not really too great of a person in my eyes
@@peach4246 It is true he could have started changing during the hardest times, but look at his before and after. Both were described as a diligent worker and overall a good (more/less happy) person. Possible his wife drove him to insanity for a moment, but also consider how they worded that part of the story. The dad said something along the lines of Dewy just needing someone to vent to, and his intent was never to hurt anyone. Imo, it was more a mixture of crime of passion and temporary insanity, but I don’t think his intentions weren’t ever good (in a stable mind frame). I conclude that because even after, he was a hard worker and worked his way to owning half the company, and never relapsed into drinking (as far as we’re told). I get what you’re saying though, and more details would be nice (:
The last story hurts my heart… if you’re about to become a parent and you’re working your life away to provide for your family.. YOU ARE A REAL MAN. Don’t belittle yourself or blame yourself for doing the very best you can for what you have. What that janitor did was all on him. I had complications during my second trimester and had to quit my job as well.. but I loved my husband so much for doing his best to make sure bills were paid. I had to go back to work 2 weeks after I had our daughter just because of bills. I hope all new parents try to pride themselves on what they can do instead of what they should do…. Now our daughter will be 4 in August and we’re home owners with two new vehicles. Life will get you to where you need to be.
The story of Dewey was not only heart warming, it was truly inspirational! The humility shown to Dewey (and his willingness to be so vulnerable in front of his boss and friend) is humanity as it should be. A lesson to be humble and show empathy and compassion to your friends and others. The outcome is joy for all.
If all the facts presented were true, it was a personal choice based off of an individual's experience...we can all be glad (unlike many other tales here) that the outcome was not the exact opposite and no one came to regret it.
@@The_Hat_Man Bribe is a bot. They copy randoms comment in hope of getting likes and sub. Please don't like and report it. I noticed "Bride" comment as soon as I saw Jenny's comment here but Jenny's was first in this situation. People are so low to even copy someone else work to get praised because they have a "verification" checkmark which isn't even real. This platform is fucked man.
My heart breaks for the boy who lost his dad when he was 5 yrs old. His father was a true unsung hero. If it wasn't for his dad, I can guarantee there would've been many losses of life on that very sad day.
The unopened present: My papa died around my 8th Thanksgiving. Somehow we all received individualized special little gifts from him that Christmas (his home nurse helped him arrange it). My mom continued to place hers under the tree, still unopened to this day. And now she hasn't much longer herself. It seems like every parent's greatest fear is losing a child, but facing this might just break me forever.
I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Maybe you could keep that tradition alive and place the present underneath the tree every Christmas too? Or see if your mom is ready to open that present and cherish what’s in there with the time she has left. My grandfather passed away unexpectedly 6 days before Christmas & that year I had reminded him that he had not bought me jewelry in a long time (he always spoiled me). Well on Christmas Eve, my grandma had pulled me aside & handed me my very last present that I would ever get from my grandpa. I contemplated not opening it because it was still so fresh & hurt so much but I decided to open it with my grandma and inside the present was a new sapphire ring that he had picked out for me. I cherish that ring every single day, even almost 15 years later. Sending you lots of prayers and your mom as well ✨

This is perfect I was on my fourth day working as a custodian, I and this came out I'm now on my seventh day of the week and working at a school near by..
the 4th story. :( He was a hero, and unlike the first story, he did his job in protecting those children. It takes real selflessness to put your life in front of others.
I'm listening to your vids while recovering from a surgery I had today!! Thanks for all the amazing content and for being just an awesome youtuber in general 💖💖💖
I make playlists of my favorite UA-camrs. I listen to my favorites repeatedly. Because of this, I haven’t watched/listened to a Let’s Read video on the first day in a while. This is my first time in a long time. 👍🏾👏🏾🙌🏾👌🏾✌🏾❤️
I used to work at a grocery store and there was this courtesy clerk (they also were stuck with janitorial duties) that had down syndrome. She used to stalk me and my husband while we worked there. Obviously because she was special needs, they talked to her instead of punishment (which at the time I was totally fine with) but it never stuck. She didn't stop stalking us the entire time we worked there and I felt like such a monster for hating her. I hope she's doing well now. But I also hope I never meet her again
Some of the best stories ever! I like how real and relatable these stories are. Dewey's, story was amazing both the father( boss and his son treated Dewey , like their equal not a subordinate , most people don't appreciate janitors, maids, gardeners etc. It's nice to know not everyone is shallow , pretentious, and elitist. Keep the relatable stories coming. Not the internet / stalker/ bad date stories( they put themselves in that position than complain the stranger they met was creepy), I dont care! This collection is awesome! Recommendation: trucker horror stories!
The third story was really touching. I'm not religious but I've always intrinsically adored the idea of unrelenting forgiveness in christianity. Being both neurotic by temperament and forgiving (plausibly to an extent out of my control) I cried hearing so much heart being handed out to Duwey. And it worked! Technically threatening to kill is probably a crime, making him a sort of on the border of a criminal but hearing a story where they are seen through that bs just as they are as people, always touches me. None of us are that many hardships away from criminal activity but it's the law that separates us, and calls us not to love them, but actually some gone under can come back from the name of "monster" just by simply loving them. Often it's lack of love makes the monster, not the other way around. I like this channel.
I believe they are true. My sister saw one, so many sightings around the world, they are real!! I have no doubts. Thx for the stories, very interesting! ❤
I use a deep pore-cleanser lotion. In the shower, I use a water-activated gel cleanser, then a honey-almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb mint facial masque which I leave on for ten minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after-shave lotion with little or no alcohol because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm, followed by a final moisturizing "protective" lotion…
Great Stories Joel!!! Unfortunately, they caused me some tears instead of moppin' them up, lol....Well, actually it caused them and did mop 'em up once😉....
I’m confused. In the last story he says his wife sat him down and admitted everything. Did she keep the janitors aggressive behavior from him? Or did she cheat on him or something? The way it was said gives me the vibe something happened between them.
