I was thinking that too. Even the half million dollars to paint it in 2017 I think was far far too cheap. I would have estimated a couple of million at least. There is 'a lot' of work here!
Great documentary. Glad to see so much enthusiasm when it comes to water towers. Almost every movie or Tv show captures them in their frames. Such an important feat of engineering.

@@foudaddyatalla7409 No way. Think about it. Thousands of tons of steel had to be fabricated and delivered to the site. $4500 wouldn’t buy the steel to make one of the legs. It took a crew of over a dozen union Boilermakers over a year to build it. Your video is awesome, but the original cost part ain’t right🙂
I did 10 years with Neumann in the 80's and 90's. Good job on this tank, Horizon.
I hate setting up and tearing down containment, but I love working inside the curtain.
