Total coincidence. I just got one of these (but in green) and challenged myself to make whatever I can fit in it comfortably my every day kit. To be honest, other than room for a kneaded eraser and a sharpener (easily put in a pocket) I don't miss much else. Simplifying has actually made me draw more. Happy sketching!!
That's what my wooden pencil case looks like! 🫣 Trying to simplify and organise the everyday kit has helped me get to sketching quickly, but for the rest of how I store my supplies it's still quite chaotic lol
Does a kneaded eraser ever lose its sticky kneadableness? (if that makes sense) Do you prefer the stick or kneaded erasers? Love how organized it is. I've got a pouch full of pencil stubs I've accumulated over 15 years 😅
They change texture very slightly once they start to get overloaded with graphite, but that can take quite a long time. I like both for different reasons. The kneaded eraser gives me more control over how much graphite I do or don't lift away, but the stick erasers are more efficient when I know I just want to get rid of all the graphite in an area.

I found that to be true too! Simplifying really helped remove obstacles to drawing for me. Have fun with your every day kit!
Yours is so tidy! Meanwhile my pencil case is just full of a bunch of random HB pencils and ballpoint pens I've accumulated over the years haha

I don't think so but it can get all dirty and u eventually have to replace it
