Have you gotten any tickets for obscured licence plate yet? Those things can get you into trouble around toll booths. Nice idea, but too wobbly for my tastes.

No tickets however it is definitely worth considered moving the plate onto the main beam of the lift if it is going to be left on for extended periods, similar to cargo carriers that cover plates. Half the guys going through the toll cameras have their plates scrubbed off (or maybe Ontario plates just don't stand up?), I imagine the ticket would be pretty hefty.
