I have become a huge fan of yours. I find your videos to be most informative, yet quite easy to follow. Thus far, in my humble opinion, no one comes close in presenting material on the Mini 4 Pro than you. great work.......and those flies, I went into a laughing hysteria when you ate it.

Having watched all your vids I had to make a tough decision. Mini4pro or Avata2. I opted for the mini 4pro and flew for the first time today having come from the mini2. What an upgrade ! I used your settings in the video and I was amazed at how smooth everything was and happy I had made the right choice. Keep up the good work.😊

Hi iam JC and i work for the POCTIFS UK 'Prevention of Cruelty To Innocent Flies UK" someone reported you to have swalled one of our little flying cherubs on OCT 4th 2023, while filming recently in a field. Is this true? If found guilty i will need to section you under act 45 of the fly penal code to serve a day laying down some poo in your neighbourhood so they can eat and thrive in your local area.

Hey! Tht's awesome. I'm glad you have found my videos helpful. Yep these setting should also translate well to the Air 3, as they are just rotational and speed based settings. you may wish to make some fine tuning to it but the general idea will be very similar. 😃

I thought using 60fps would give you smoother footage is cine mode?
60 fps will give a smoother look. But when trying to achieve motion blur then you need to make sure your shutter speed is double the frame rate. You can use 30 or 60fps depending on what you're trying to achieve. I tend to prefer 60fps for FPV footage for example 😁

I was in the Australian Outback. It's famous for having so many flies that it can drive you insane. Luckily, I escaped before that happened. They were VERY annoying though 😂

Hey, The sound seems fine to me, There's one bit where I inserted a little voice over bit but the audio is fine. Maybe there was a UA-cam playback issue for you?

haha I just got it at the local camp shop on the station. They were the biggest pain in the ass, they're just relentlessly trying to violate your face. I'm glad to be many miles away from them now! 😂 No problem!

Anther great video, I have copied your settings as far as I can but I have got a problem with the Gain & Expo Tuning, I have set the Expo settings fine, but there are were to set the (Max Control Speed(Tilt), and the Tilt Smoothness settings after the Expo settings, can you help me please? Also my Subject Scanning is greyed out so I cannot turn this on, dos the drone have to be flying before I can turn this on ? Any ideas PLEASE, regards Chris.
P.s. got it sorted now you do have to be in flight to use (Subject Scanning, and for changing the (Max Control Speed(Tilt) and the Tilt Smoothness settings. All changed and working fine now thank you. Regards Chris.
Great stuff Chris! Glad you got it figured out. Let me know what you think of the rates when you've had the chance to try them! Something I have discovered after making the video is I think that subject scanning resets to off with each fight. I'm trying to see if there's a way to stop this from happening
Great news Justin I am looking forward to seeing your next video, have you had any problems downloading your videos from the DJI 4 PRO ?, I have put the DJI App onto my IPAD PRO and tried downloading,the app finds the drone ok and try’s to connect to it but it says connecting then comes up with SWITCHING FAILED Aircraft already connected to another device. Restart aircraft and try again. I have tried this several times with the same results. Can you help me please? Regards Chris.
@@chrisharvey6845Turn the RC2 off and leave the drone on. Download to your ipad after the drone connects to it - hope that helps

Question: if someone uses a link to amazon to purchase a drone (or anything really) how much does that reward you? Some percentage of whatever was bought? A flat rate? ??? Thanks.
Yes this was in the South Austtalian outback! Too many flies at that time of year haha. It works on a percentage of the amount spent. I wouldn't really know though as no one has bought anything using the links yet. But it's worth having there just incase anyone wants to 😀

If you already have a Mini 3 Pro, is it really worth upgrading to a M4P?
I think that really depends on how you use the drone and what you need to prioritise. If you do a lot of manual flying and rarely fly very far away, then it doesn't make much sense to upgrade. However, if you fly far away on most flights, use active tracking a lot, or would use the extra features like waypoints and Cruise control. Then it makes sense to upgrade. The RC2 is also a big improvement over the original RC, but a lot of people have learnt to live with the slower radio. So it's very situational in my opinion.
Will these changes affect in tracking mode?
I'm not 100% sure to be honest. The thing with tracking modes is that the drone tends to use much more exaggerated manoeuvres to follow the subject. Where manual cinematic flying, we're much slower and more deliberate with our control inputs
@@JustinBainbridgeYT yeah, i was wondering that too. Will it be sluggish or overide the settings with their own tracking expos..
I assume they probably override. My settings are mainly for finer control within the gimball and yaw controls. I haven't found any effects to the tracking ability or speeds since making the changes
@verdi6092 after more testing I can conclude that they do not have an effect on the tracking modes. I tried changing the rates drastically and it made no difference in active track

Great channel. Subbed. Might buy a mini 4 pro, not really a photographer and not wild about the ideas of having to possibly register and have the US gubbamint tracking me. I need to have a real conversation with myself but if I do I’ll be re watching all your videos.
