Congrats on putting together a great video. Well done. I visit there often. Seaford is fresh off the boats, entertainment is great. Brookgreen Gardens is beyond beautiful especially in the spring. Also, great golf courses in the area.
my family has been here since the 1800s and also have ancestors who were in the the Horry Rough and Readys of the CSA. my family owns an acre and a half and across the street there’s a road lined with all of our family members on about 7 acres after my great grandfather distributed the land to all of his kids and it’s still being passed down on wachesaw. we love our hometown but we have to keep it a hidden gem. i find the tourists rude and it’s hard adjusting to the change in energy in my hometown. if you saw how the inlet looked and how great the atmosphere was when i was growing up or in the 80s, you would be surprised. us locals are always called friendly people. i have a large case full of family pictures in the 40s+ all on the inlet. and another fact, brook green gardens was and still is the largest the slave plantation in history. the history of the grand strand is out of this world.
Thanks for the history. Also thanks for watching How to Have Fun Outdoors! You are the second or third that have stated they would like to keep it a hidden gem. It is a great place.
Great vid. All true. The best place around. But how are we going to keep this hidden gem a secret if you keep telling people about it ? We Murrells Inlet locals do not like to share, so please keep it a secret...haha Love your vids, fun and informative...
Refreshing, best time to visit without millions of tourists!
It was very nice! Thanks for watching How To Have Fun Outdoors!!

Thanks so much! Appreciate the feedback. We loved the area! Thanks for watching “How To Have Fun Outdoors!”
Our favorite place looking forward to moving there! Love the Yorkie terrorizing the beach👍I have a Cairn terrorist 😂
They loved the beach and it was nice that the locals support dogs on the beach. That is getting harder and harder to find in some areas.
Did he say “Murlets” Inlet? I live here and folks want visitors to know the right pronunciation:)
Thanks for watching How To Have Fun Outdoors!
