    I really like Norms interviews. I'm impressed how he comes up with interesting questions both for the viewer and the for the person being interviewed.
    Also that automata looks amazing.

    I'm very glad that Automatons get some exposure thru this channel.

    • @theorganguy
      @theorganguy 8 років тому

      Google disagrees with you, and so do I:
      au·tom·a·ton
      noun
      plural noun: automatons

    • @theorganguy
      @theorganguy 8 років тому

      apparently, wikipedia allows both as valid plural versions:
      An automaton (pronunciation: /ɔːˈtɒmətən/)(plural: automata or automatons)

      @theorganguy 8 років тому +3

      automata sounds like something with tomatoes in it.... soupe au tomata...

    A finished crampus is 400 dollars. Not bad, considering how beautiful it is.

    A very interesting video. More like this please. Norm is an exeptional interviewer. He asks an intelligent, pertinent question, and then just politely listens.. No ego at all, just a genuine interest. Very refreshing. Thank you to at all at tested, you're a lovely group of people.

    I went to a Krampus festival in Austria this weekend just gone.
    The outfits and masks in particular are incredible, and the coolest thing is that each participant makes a new mask from scratch every year.

    I always love how fascinated Norm is by all the different things Tested covers. Makes me interested in things I never would have checked out otherwise. :)

  • @Khanemis

    What a great work...it definitely has that classic oldchool feeling...even that devil is like taken straight from old folklore. I love it...and it is interesting to hear about Sam's creative process behind it.
    Also is it Bill Doran in the background?

      You can buy them painted and complete from Sam as well, via her Web Site. Not everybody has to be a master model maker to enjoy her work.

    • @Vynzent
      @Vynzent 8 років тому +1

      ChrizRockster I meant make one from scratch. I believe I could, if I didn't already have a time-consuming hobby.
      I could buy one of hers to show support, I guess. Well that, and it would also look badass.

    Gorgeous stuff.
    Although she's not into 3D printing, I'd like to see what she would be able to do if she would at least plan her mechanisms in 3D, then print or laser cut different cogs and levers and all that.
    Is she related to Ron Cobb?

      That is Bill, and his doppelganger (Frank) on the couch, and yet, there's Bill's twin brother (which is not there). But that just makes me wonder if they are not a bunch of casts from a same mold... Life.
