- What's going on everyone! Today we're taking a look at another newly released optic basketball format: The Fast Break hobby box. Coming in at around $320, this box is a cheaper version of the regular hobby boxes with some tweaks, but we're still chasing those coveted rated rookies of some of the top players in this class. Let me know if you would buy a box at these prices. Hope you enjoy!

Will more than likely just buy singles of fast break parallels. Thanks for sharing
No problem thanks for tuning in!
Imma stick to retail the hangers were pretty good compared to hobby
that was rough
Tough rip, thanks for sharing! I ordered one of these from panini's website yesterday. Now I'm kinda scared lol.
All good brotha it happens. Hopefully you pull some heat 🔥. I was looking at prices again and it seems like they're selling out pretty fast. Few places left at $350+
I stopped buying wax for like 2-3 months now and haven’t looked back lol it was hard, but throwing hundreds of dollars down the drain I couldn’t keep doing 😭
Yeah these boxes can be super tough. Nothing wrong with just buying singles for certain products and calling it a day
I'm with you Deejay. I also stopped couple months back and while it was hard definitely don't miss the massive disappointment after opening wax products. You always lose opening product in the long run. These card UA-camrs like Pac man has these people believing they could pull what he does. WRONG! He gets loaded boxes sent straight to him.
Great video... thanks for the review
No problem thanks for watching!
Brutal rip, but very nice video. I like the editing and I like that you show the approximate prices for things. I was eyeing up these boxes yesterday but it looked like they sold out on Panini's website in like less than 20 mins.
I got a couple Optic basketball blasters coming tomorrow. I've been getting back into it this year...probably spent about $2k so far and have sold like $200 worth of cards. Everything seems like a crapshoot. Retail, hobby, buying teams on live breaks. I got that Hunter Tyson guy's auto in a Donruss Elite hobby box and I can't even sell it for $5 lol.
@@ripclips yeah hobby can be brutal but those occasional big pulls keep us coming back. I had much better luck with other sets this year and on the football side too. Retail has been much improved overall with more numbered cards being injected into them this year so it’s been a nice way for some just now getting into collecting. When I started out, retail was just not it except for a few sets here and there
@@Coolectable For sure, I kept getting burned by Absolute football this year. I think the lowest card I got was a /10 auto of some dude in the NBA from like 1983 lol. I just wanna pull an auto of someone relevant, like a top 25 in any sport. Seems like a lot of those are in the premium sets like Immaculate and what not.
@@ripclips Yeah absolute is tough. You primarily only wanna open those for Kabooms which are extremely rare. You can actually find pretty good autos across a lot of the lower tier sets. The more expensive sets ($400+) are usually pricey not for the autographs but because of the popularity and resale value of other cards in those specific designs like prizm, rated rookies from optic, or some type of exclusive case hit. Some of my best cards and autos included came from hobby boxes in the 2-300 range. Majority of my purchases for hobby are in that range (H2, fast break, no huddle, hobby lite boxes) with the occasional box in the upper echelon so if you like those there should be plenty on the channel going forward
With the Wemby tax, these boxes are just too expensive. But you pulled a few cool cards. 🤘🏻
Yeah optic and prizm hobby are pretty tough to begin with so that Wemby tax can really kill ya sometimes. Thanks for watching!
🫣🫣🫣toughhhhh luck. But thats how it goes most of the time. Hope we pulls some bangers on the next one! Another awesome vid! Keep em coming 🎉
We'll get some bangers for sure. Thanks for stopping by!
I'll buy more blasters and megas, the more boxes the more chance to pull a wemby
Not a bad idea. Plenty of chances at Wemby in retail and they all sell pretty well
For its price.. I rather buy blasters or Mega's.. It's much fun to rip multiple packs😊❤😊. Thanks for sharing
Stay safe 11:03
Yeah it’s definitely fun ripping through a ton of packs and you can get a lot for $320. Thanks for watching!
That was rough brother, but they sure are a lot of fun to open aren't they?
Tough one for sure but always a good time ripping packs!
no way.... I think I will stay with the retails.
More optic retail releasing next week! (hanger boxes). Going to try to rip a few and see how they are
The back of optic look terrible this yearc
Many boxes are simply too expensive, not worth value even if you pull a Wemby….u get full of base cards that nobody wants, unless if u try to complete a base set like sometimes I personally do.
With the prices the way they are, if you don't pull a Wemby parallel you almost certainly will be losing money. Panini sucks.
Yup Wemby tax on everything this year. Sucks if you’re trying to collect the other top guys like B. Miller, Keyonte, GG, etc. Gotta try to find good deals from local shops or certain online ones
No point to open these MF boxes
Panini = Ripoff
