While some people dislike Taran Zhu for his hostility toward the Alliance and the Horde, he turns out to be right that their continuing their war in Pandaria is a bad thing, for a few reasons.
1. It empowers the Sha, which feed on various negative emotions and as such, both encourage and grow stronger through conflict.
2. It weakens their efforts against those who are enemies to both factions and all of Pandaria, such as the resurrected Thunder King.
3. Garrosh's unearthing the Heart of Y'Shaarj devastates the sacred Vale of Eternal Blossoms.
I understand why he's upset, but the fact remains he was a d*ck about it didn't help. Being hostile to newcomers when you make first contact with someone isn't endearing your people to anyone. Yes the Alliance-Horde war sucks, but it's not like the PC has any real influence on that.
@@shirrenthewanderer414 Taran Zhu has good reason to be hostile. The fact that The Alliance and The Horde brough their war to his land. They destroy a lot of propety when they arriver.
@@linkzellda Oh I get why he's upset and he has every right to be. I would be upset to, but he gives off this "Pandaria for Pandarians" vibe that gets him possessed by the Sha of Hatred, (which we had to free him from). And from what I hear from the lore that the Alliance/Horde war was *supposed* to happen. I like Taran Zhu, but he spends a lot of the expansion being a d*ck like he speaks for all of Pandaria (he doesn''t). I think the Shado-Pan are cool anyway.
+Gheorghita Alexandru Well, Pandaria is pretty much a giant reference to China. Though I think the Burlap Trail could also be a reference to the Tea Horse Road.
Hm, i firured something out. If war of the ancients was 10k years ago and that is when world split how come pandaran empire started 10k years ago and none knows about pandaran nace? At that point of time many things happened, world exploded, pandaran continent was dissconected to rest of the world and was hidden by mists. But, wasn't there like mogu tyrant ruling over them before that time, and no other race even mantioned it or have been involved while it was same continent? Got to hate how they make up story as they go, with no final consept.
goran77ish The Pandaren had ties with the Night Elf empire before the Sundering. Though, once they noticed the night elves' obsession with magic at the time, the Pandaren chose not to involve themselves with them. And, since the Sundering split Pandaria from the rest of the world, hid the continent, and the Pandaren grew more isolationist, it's no surprise they've been mostly forgotten over 10 thousand years. Also, their empire is much older than just 10 thousand years, by several centuries at least, if not several millenia. And before the Pandaren, the Mogu ruled Pandaria, and they maintained ties with the Zandalari trolls. And considering how Pandaria was at the southern tip of ancient Kalimdor, and pretty geographically isolated from the rest of the land, I'm not surprised they only had such limited ties to the rest of Azeroth.
They're not just monks. They include other classes like rogues, hunters, mages and priest in their organization. It's me it's made out of panderen with different skill sets for different tasks

"The Burlap Trail" Ahahahahaha, gotta love those references (real world equivalent - The Silk Road)
