    Good review. nice to see a recent review video of BM800 test. Aliexpress is seem to pushed off this model from 'condenser microphone' search result and been pushing the Fifine usb microphone that attract more customers due to its color rgb feature

      Hi, I’m not sure exactly what your problem could be but here are some options.
      Have you got phantom power turned on the audio interface?
      There is no light to tell you the microphone is on unfortunately.
      Do you have another microphone that is working to test?
      Hopefully this helps! Thanks.

    How did you reduce the hiss of the bm800

    • @Isaacsmusiclessons
      @Isaacsmusiclessons  9 місяців тому +1

      Hi, I recommend recording quite close and with a decent gain to begin with. This means you don’t need to turn it up lots in the mix which will make the hiss louder. There are also some mixing tricks you can find online to reduce hiss but always better to minimise from the start of the recording process. Because this is a very cheap mic it definitely has more hiss than most others I have tried though. Hope this helps a bit!

      Get a good audio interface. And it'll stop. I changed my audio interface and it stopped.

    Hi, should i buy the BM-800 mic for singing ?

      @Isaacsmusiclessons  9 місяців тому +1

      Hi, I would recommend spending a bit more if you can stretch to get a slightly more expensive microphone. However, if you’re on a tight budget it will be enough to get you started making music!
