    4:55 This type of behaviour from the pilot in blue should be discouraged. A pilot in Italy got himself killed this way a week ago.

      @@Lionheartsm He's ground handling without being clipped in. This might seem innocent enough and Gav is right that it isn't a problem in most conditions. The problem is when it's strong and gusty, the pilot can get lifted high off the ground. The problem with that is that human reflexes aren't always correct. The correct response would be to immediately let go but most people actually grab on tighter and get carried up. It can cause serious injuries. So yeah, this shouldn't be done in gusty conditions. I could've been clearer. My issue wasn't that the pilot did it. Pilots should make their own decisions and they understand the conditions better than we can through the screen. It was more that I don't like to see it being normalised through videos that are targeting beginners.
