Totally awesome . For someone. Who listened to Met Opera for decades call mom unfortunately James King was not a regular, mostly singing in Germany I think. So I came rather late it’s wonderful voice. he is truly amazing, and I believe one of his sns was Instrumental in preparing. of his works for you UA-cam. Thank you for that. I only wish I had had the opportunity to see him in person. Is city of the dead is Addely transcendent😎
A good friend of mine was his accompanist for two years when he was living in Munich. She finally came back home because she felt she would never be able to discuss philosophy or politics in German, but she loved working with James King very much.

James King was a great tenor. His work in the Wagner operas is legendary. Not bad for the boy from Kansas. Checkout his Das Lied Von Der Erde with Fischer-Dieskau and Bernstein conducting the VPO. Fantastic.
James King is the best Florestan ever! No one else can sing so brilliantly and yet so full of sorrow!
