Fight the monster a lot and just take note of how it attacks based on your position. Youll start to have a decent idea of what the monster will do and you'll start to notice the windup for certain attacks.

How much difference in damage is between this set and full Fatalis set? Is it enough to sacrifice the comfort of the Fatalis set? I mean for casual hunts.
You can use it with health augment. Basically frostcraft is better than the normal dragon set if you have more than a quarter of the frost gauge, and this fact doesn't change regardless of it with health aug or full affinity augs(though the effective raw differs of course). I'll post a video about FC this weekend.
Even with 85% affinity the Frostcraft set with True Fatalis Sword (health aug 1, affinity aug 1) beats the 4pc Fatalis set. It takes 50 hits without sheathing for the 4pc Fatalis set to beat Frostcraft, according to the creator of this album below. It's a shame there was no real reason to fight Brute Tigrex for the majority of Iceborne. His chestplate was a nice piece for a while until Safi and Critical Brachy, but that's about it. He's honestly one of my favorite fights in the game, and I think he's a HUGE step up from normal Tigrex.
Minev I thought Jyuratodus and Beotodus were fun enough. Lavasioth is a complete shitshow though. I can’t believe they thought that redesign was a good idea.
Does this version of Tigrex have less health or something? I took it down in, like, 6 minutes yesterday. I know Brute Tigrex is way easier than Regular Tigrex, but that's just ridiculous
No if you're using Fatalis weapons and armor you're basically unstoppable and you may have also gotten a lot better at the game since the last time you fought him.
Triple affinity augment shown at the start of the video. This gets you to 95% affinity after tenderizing. Challenging part is not getting hit to maintain peak performance.
@@SpryoRuLes Only heals if you run health augment, which while amazing is not optimal for speedrunning, so he still needed to pop max potion in this run.

for casual hunt definitely fatalis set, the slot fatalis set gave a lot of flexibility.
Honestly at this point everything works for casual hunts

They wasted a lot of monster potential in Iceborne, especially with the piscine wyvern

This quest makes the Brute either really small or really big.

Getting hit by this thing does no damage and SnS perfect rush heals a ridiculously amount of hp so not very hard to keep peak up
