Asalam Aleikum. Quran 2.137 shows correct belief is key to victory not numbers in Quran 9.25. Quran 24.55 ties Tawhid to safety and Quran 9.122 ties dawa to jhad. Sahabas left makkah and homes but in madina outgrew the pagans in a few years and local jues who were in charge of farming or armory as the prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him passed with his armour out, similar to how ppl say they are in charge of miIitary today. Islam is the best method to overcome the odds and oppressors. Aqida differring is not ok but fiq differring has more leniency.
