I was at the show in Hamburg a few weeks ago. When the set started, a guy next to me put on sunglasses -- he must have seen it before ;-) The lights are simply fantastic. It's by far the best light show I have ever seen, over the top in all the right ways. The integration with the music is so great, it's practically like another set of instruments playing at a (much) higher frequency. It created a combined barrage of sound and light that totally hit my reset button after a hard day and I went home with a big grin on my face. Thanks for this excellent piece of art!

These videos were one of my inspirations to get into production. I now operate and program on a frequent basis and have gotten the opportunity to travel the world to work in production. Hope you're doing well wherever you are!

I am currently trying to get in contact with them as I like to do things properly and legit but I make my own music ,, I hope u will check it out and like what im doing .. this light show and sound track , I could turn in to something along the same style as what I am doing but with your lighting and my extra effects it could be even more epic! . would u consider giving me a copy of this to remix in to and epic video/ and maybe original soundtrack that I will create ? if pertabotor don't let me remix it .. many thank. Great lightshow, good sound (the final wet version obviously, not the dry rec in this vid, which clearly was tuned for room-compensation (neat!)). Boring audience though, at least in the back.
The audience for this music is very boring. I was at a perturbator concert in mars and it was the same. I think people just don't know what to do yet. The crowed had a bit more life when I saw carpenter brut but his music is faster and is more like a rock/metal song. Perturbator is more like something that works in the background you chill to. I mean, you don't really start moshpits or jump up and down headbanging to it. Like at 30.00 and onward, what should you do than just digging it?? I don't know xD
Sure, most parts aren't really "danceable" or "bangable", but folks were literarily indistinguishable from a cinema audience, except without even reaching for popcorn and cola - just static puppets. I got more emotion in me when listening to Vir Unis' "We Are The Sun's Dream", and that's freaking AMBIENT ( ua-cam.com/video/jMD4SAwpKaw/v-deo.html ). Then again, maybe it also has to do with Pertubator's tunes not being very.... "predictable" on first listen. You can't really anticipate breaks and changes in flow, and they seem random at first. After multiple listens, you notice the patterns, but those new to his songs, i imagine being constantly disoriented in where the track's going might be discouraging.
