Hi, thanks for sharing . I am also looking for STD set of rings , but havent asked local honda dealer , but You are more experienced , why did you order from Japan insted of local dealer? price or availability?
short answer yes........ In Most cases dealers are unable to get old stuff for their brand unless it was used along a wide range of models. So i rather pay a Japanese seller and wait 2 or 3 weeks for the package than wait for a dealer to call me back in a month and tell me they cant deliver...... or that the tell me they can get it with 2 months lead time minimum and pay more then double than what the Japanese seller costs.

Are these parts all easily available?
depends on what you really need, there are ebay sellers for new parts and some Japanese sellers. also the second hand market is still pretty strong.
