Brandon Cassaday - I do remember that and that actor was a horrible Stefano DiMera. I’d rather they live him dead. I like that heroine, Hope Brady killed Stefano. That was a nice ending to a legacy character who happens to be the best villain in all of daytime and in general. It allowed our hero’s to get him one last (and finally time) and it gave us Joseph Mascolo’s last great performance. If DAYS brings Stefano back to life only to be played by another actor, I feel that it would ruin the character and make him seem lame, especially if they only show his hands and speaking of hands, I do believe the Stefano in 1989 was shown full body, but face was covered. In addition, I like that they kept the door slightly cracked for the notion that Stefano DiMera is somehow out there enjoying his last years of life. The idea of him feeding the pigeons was funny and left the illusion that it could be Stefano or maybe someone that looks like him or maybe a clone of sorts or whatever. Let’s leave it at that, since we could never get the real actor back. Speaking of DiMera’s I really want Ellen Davidson to return as Kristen, but the new actress is doing such a great job as Kristen.

To make the story short they met in Ireland when Shawn Brady Sr and Stefano were boys. Santo and Colleen feel in love deeply she was about to become a nun before Santo enter the picture. He was going to leave his wife for Colleen the thing is she didn't even know he was married. Little Stefano told Shawn so Shawn would tell Colleen which he did. Once she found out she wouldn't be with him again but she was already pregnant she just didn't tell anyone. Pete Brady which was Colleen and Shawn father basically hated on sight. She fake her death and left. No one knew she was alive. So Santo blamed the Brady's for Colleen's death and told his son to carry out his vengeance on the Brady clan. After Johns death he thought he was their child for awhile but the child died. Its believed Andre hit John and fake his death. Since they already brain washed him it made it very easy to get to mess around in his head. Ej was the one who found out John was alive and told Marlena.
