I loved and laughed over Danny’s comment “Ta-Da’”. In todays world we all need to give ourselves credit for things we accomplish! Lovely video! I’m going do more Ta-Da’s.
Frozen grapes have always been a favorite snack in our family. When my boys were little, we kept small zip loc bags of frozen grapes in the freezer. They could grab a bag anytime they wanted. They never lasted long.
I'm in rural Michigan. I am literally in tears, cheering for you over the grapes. God is so good! As always, best wishes. The still picture of Danny holding up the cluster of grapes is worthy of framing. Danny's biggest smiles: 1) At Miss Wanda, 2) at his tractor, and 3) at this cluster of grapes 😊
In England back in the 1700’s or something they would have one huge old grapevine that ran the entire length of the greenhouse (at the top) and back that gave them tons of grapes to make wine. Saw it in a greenhouse book with the history of them...
I love how ya’ll get excited about your crop? Because I feel the same way about things I grow! It’s very exciting. You two hard working souls deserve every good thing you harvest!! ♥️🙏🏼♥️
Hello Mr. Danny, my name is Sultan and I’ve been listening and learning from you and Miss Wanda for two years. Love y’all’s content and mainly because of y’all’s knowledge. Thanks for sharing. Y’all have a great evening.
@@heatherk8931 nothing special, got them at Home Depot last spring. Planted them in a large plant container so I could move it to different spot in the backyard. I've noticed with two other shrubs are doing better after we moved them (containers) to different spots earlier this spring. These plants are worse than people with their attitude 😅 Might want to start with a new one (harvest) if you can uproot this one since you have had it for awhile.
had you over for a visit with my coffee this am. Good start to the day. Then went out to water my pepper plants. I did plant watermelon for the first time. Just three seeds so not sure if I am too late. Enjoy your day everyone.
Y'all are truly blessed this year. So much food!! I honestly don't know how y'all do so much! I just have a backyard garden and keeping up with it WEARS ME OUT! Thank you both for sharing with us. I have learned so much from you❤
My first year having grapes as well, I got a bunch of chick-pea sized grapes so far. I can't wait until they are ready. Nice setup you got there you two! Take care ya'll, much love!
Oh my!!’ What an amazing bounty of delicious food you have raised. Those grapes in particular! 😍 Thank you for sharing. I really enjoy your garden tours. 🙏🏻
The grapes look amazing frozen grapes are so good on a hot day. I love your excitement over them I’m the same getting any food from my plants. I got my first bell pepper of the year and was sooooooo excited yesterday evening.
Last year we had our first big harvest of grapes 🍇we made grape juice, this year I want to experiment and make our own raisins for salads, granola, oatmeal, cookies ect😉
Well without doing anything to them, stored up they will be raisins in 50 days. So no reason for anything to go to waste. Id say throw up another fenceline, height with grapes is wise, they grow up rails as high as twenty feet in rows for commercial now. Thankful to see the bounty of the high tunnels! Wonderful work rewarded. Blessings to you and yours!
The grapes looked so good they about jumped off the screen! It was wonderful to see how much you have been able to grow in your high tunnels and such an array of food. Just amazing! 🌱
We just ate the first ever crop of apricots from our tree yesterday. I completely understand that “Ta Dah” moment! They were the best thing I’ve ever tasted and they were organically grown in our front yard! 😁
I've go a 25 year old tree, and 3 self planted, all going great this year. Had to take one to the ground. Best homemade jam!!🌼, going to try dehydrate this year in my combo air fryer
Danny , congratulations on the grapes . During winter you need to prune them severely cutting off any weak or thin canes ( branches ) and leaving about 6 canes pruned back to about 3ft long . Roll on ( wind on ) each cane over and under your wire and once spring arrives they will come alive again , But you must do a heavy prune for better harvests . From Australia 🇦🇺
I love watching your videos... today I was watching while pressure canning some chicken...and I learned so much. Especially to pick my peppers before they turn color..thank you for always sharing interesting details that make a big difference.
Those grapes look amazing. I have a southern concord developed by the University of Florida called Sunbelt. If you’re interested I’ll root ya one and send one to you. Mine loads out like your grapes
Danny, this is the first year I've also grown grapes and I have both purple and green. I'm not sure if they'll produce this year or wait until next but they're crawling the arbor walls and I'm so proud to see them. A Neighbor pointed out the other day that they're starting to bud.....I think is what he called it. He said you're about to have some grapes right here and he pointed. I guess we'll wait and see, I'm just happy they're hanging around and survived the last couple of winters....bless their heart.
I enjoyed watching your video and thanks for sharing! The plants in your greenhouse are growing well and those green grapes looks delicious! You have a Garden of Eden indeed. The Good Lord have Blessed you all Bountiful!🤗❤🤗
In the bible more than one man had to Cary one bundle of grapes...my understanding might be off. But the way I read it ....it took at least two to carry each bundle of grapes. That is how I think they will be huge and juicy how they were first created. Excited
I feel inspired by this, thanks for showing your high tunnel. Happy for you having such fine grapes. I've not grown cranberries, but as far as I know it is a cool, moisture and acid loving crop. I love butterbeans. I can only get them canned, until I bought them dry from Azure standard. I'm growing Christmas Lima pole beans right now. Enjoy folks.
Good morning! My strawberries came up, grew their 3rd leaf, and stopped. They didn't die but they also are not growing 😮 the Malabar is gorgeous - I'm getting one!
Those grapes are BEAU-ti-FUL, wow you guys are the best couple on YT, expressing the bounty & rich abundance of love & care in a garden. One thing I notice on the grapes as well, is the natural yeast accumulated, I'd soak that in distilled water for 3 days, then put wheat flour to grow some good sour dough starter. True abundance.
I didn’t have time to tend to my grapes so they are all tangled up so we just covered it to keep the birds out and I’ll try to do better next time. Why won’t the grapes cross?
I like scuppernong, my grandma use to make jam out of hers, to this day it’s the only grape jelly I’ll eat. I didn’t even know I could grow peppercorn! Going to check out getting me a high tunnel!
I have had a horrible time finding grapes and blue berries I ordered a few that came dead as a door nail.. that is the thing the lord put us on our property a year ago so trying so hard to get my main home prepared an then the property with the old cabin.. which is the place to go if weather starts getting to a degree this house can’t withstand. I love your gardens Danny you both put such work into it. I’m heading back out now to mine to check on my I don’t know beans 😂 because I mixed up my beans 🫘 haha well my son did so that is hilarious. Thank you for sharing I love the grapes an I will keep on going doing all I can to get my grapes back here at this house because I had such amazing berrys and grapes before they were on of my favorite things to pick and eat!
Your long beans look great.. l have done long beans my self this year so I'm gonna have to put up a trellis for it to grow up on... And one of my tomato plants has taken off like crazy... The other tomato plants are growing at a normal rate, but still kind of crazy quick.. Thank you for showing us your experiment:s
I loved and laughed over Danny’s comment “Ta-Da’”. In todays world we all need to give ourselves credit for things we accomplish! Lovely video! I’m going do more Ta-Da’s.
Keeps me motivated and gives me some down time to stop and smell the roses for 5 minutes! Off to do dog chores. They are a waiting for me!
Im giggling over Wandas pot plants..lol
@@farmco6897 Yes, I was tickled over that one also. It caught me off guard and I had to do a double take to see the flowers...
And this is why many need to get a high tunnel, Like I need to do!! Growing grapes - WOW!!!

They look better than the ones in the grocery store, waiting for my backyard grapes to bloom.🍇🍇🍇🍇🍇🍇🍇🍇
Do you do anything besides water? Mine doesn't set grapes sadly, they are 10+ years old
