This is a true story. Emran hashmi is an undercover cop and on the run. He sneaks into the hotel room where the girl is staying. That night he falls in love with her at first sight but since she is unknow to him, he doesnt express. Later he walks her down to the aisle and she hands him the car keys and requests him to wait for her. Later she ditches her own wedding and goes along with Emraan. On the way a police van passes by and she gets scared as the groom(a goon probably or a powerful man) has ties with the police. She thinks if they(police) find her, the police will return her to the groom. Emraan takes her to the police library. Hesitant at first, she goes with Emraan to the library. There she realizes, emraan is an undercover cop and she salutes. Meanwhile, Emraan realizes that he is deeply in love with her and starts thinking abt them entering into a wedlock. It is a dream sequence and thinking abt this, he smiles. After returning from the canteen with the plate of food in his hand, he sees her sleeping and doesn't want to disturb her as this is the moment of relief. Once she wakes up, she helps him in opening the lid of the bottle n they enjoy their drink. The groom and the goons are able to track them down in the library and the groom kills her. Emraan then kills the groom bt others escape. Emraan is pained to see the girl with whom he dreamt of his future with, die in his arms. This impacted him and he vows that he wont marry anyone else. To avenge the death of his love, he becomes one of the dreaded cops of Mumbai Police and the goons who escaped are killed in an encounter in the aftermath. I hope I have provided the best possible narrative for you guys. But my words wont be able to justify the emotions and the feelings of this song. It is definitely one of the heart touching story.
