I really hope sparking zero comes out later rather than sooner. A lot of game developers get rushed to meet a quota or release window. Nowadays it really feels like corporate just asks the devs to see a video of a something working and don’t actually get anyone to really play test it. I’m not saying the game has to come out in years and be practically bug free, I’m just saying I’d rather have them take a bit longer to cook for QA purposes.
Can understand you but man BT4 was on my wishlist since PS2. I'm going to give Daima a chance since I know it's not as bad a GT but yea your right super back would have been the best outcome. But the fact the manga is still going is decent enough

because batman doesn’t kill. frieza has been killed umpteen times. DC comics is not the same as DB. if batman killed the joker repeatedly and he kept coming back to life that would be as stupid as frieza coming back. we are sick of frieza, he is stale and overused. DB has dozens of new of ideas and antagonists they could use but they insist on shoving frieza down our throats over and over again
I searched my feelings and tbh, I don't care if we had Super or Daima tbh. I'm glad that we have Daima more because 1. Toriyama is heavily involved so the Db writing might actually improve and 2. Db is going back to its roots, with traditional martial arts fighting. I'm honestly tired of the transformations super has been giving us and the majority of those transformations, design-wise, look like a bunch of copy-and-paste madness. Not to mention bringing back villains from old sagas is getting boring. And if super did get put out over Daima, the only real arc to look forward to is Moro. Once that’s over you’re left with a poorly executed arc, an arc based off of a movie, and another arc with a villain who has had two arcs before centered around him. At least Daima is bringing something new and refreshing to the table.
Bring back what if's man 1) what if Super Buu got stuck in time chamber 2) what if Goku fused with Gohan etc so many more hypotheticals out there , we love the way you present these things...
Unpopular opinion I don’t care for Moro or the granola arcs and would much rather have the anime go in there own direction with Dima rather than copying and pasting what was already done terribly in the manga
@@QaamansLand Sean Schemmel's Goku lines in the BT4 trailer. Some of them came off just really weak as if he didn't even want to be there. I think there's one where Goku says "I'm really angry now" with absolutely zero emotion.
It's weird talking like people who like daima are in denial. I personally like it, because I like dragon quest and og dragon ball and so does most of japan. Not everything needs to be a random punch slugfest with generic ki blasts all over the place and big ass transformations.

For the character roster of Sparking, notice all the hexagon shapes between ccharacters. It seems clear to me that what we saw is just a subset of characters. And we should get MUCH more.
My problem with Daima is that it's telling us that they cannot be bothered to actually give us proper fights with them as adults anymore. They literally have to be aged and powered down to be able to not just do beam clashes and all the other nonsense, so they have to actually fight.
Qaaman they never have added new manga stuff to dragon ball games. Besides db heros which had hakai goku first And i hope offline multi-player comes to sparking zero

I just hope the stories goes to the current timeline. I want to fight Moro and Gas. The emphasis on "Giant Battles" leaves me to believe Cell Max will make an appearance along with Beast Gohan and Mango Piccolo.
Reason I'm shocked with Sparking Zero's roster is compared to BT3 which could reuse assests of the game prior to bolster the roster. Whereas BT4 is starting from scratch, visual upgrade, & UE5 being only released early last year Im shocked they amassed this much and not say 50 + transformations for the roster. I can realistically see GT and classic DB in this roster. Daima, since it wqs revealed its the kids my expectations for a good story was nill so the animations are the main reason and they looked grat, love the smaller scale fights so count me happy to watch it (just wish other side characters like say Yamcha appeared at least).
My honest opinion: I’m not into it really but I’m going to watch it anyway so why complain. Also I just think there giving us a break on all the transformations and showing us what happened in between the 7 years apart from cell saga and buu saga ( I may be wrong ) then after this series is over we will get the Dragon Ball we want with ultra ego vegeta, black freiza, gohan beast form, etc. So that give them much needed time to get a clear idea of how they want the show… I just hope it isn’t too long of a wait.

Super filled in the 10 year time skip. So if the story follows the original manga's *intent* Frieza has to die again.

The problem with Dragonball nowadays is that everything feels as its made up on the spot, theres no grand arc that really takes us by surprise, theres no new bad guy who matches the levels of Vegeta, Frieza or Cell. It just feels that they want to make toys, games, characters that can be dlc or toys but no new challenge for the dragonball universe. Beerus and Jiren both became almost a joke in how they were pushed to the side.

I don't have a console but i need to see gameplay to see if it's more Raging blast or Tenkaichi Budokai. Super has hype. it's just that it's difficult for the writers to make a story with a serious narrative in that series.. manga or anime... it's a good looking,but it will always disappoint you due to the series being mostly garbage. Daima has no hype due to stupid ideas... But it's easier for the writers to make a story and it has more inspiration behind it compared to Super which i heard,I guess it will be no power creep.

4:44 I love that it's like OG Dragon Ball. The martial arts combat in Daima are probably the biggest upside so far, with it's top tier animation too.
I remember liking raging blast when characters had different animations depending whether the combo was grounded or in the air.

The problem with Dragonball nowadays is that everything feels as its made up on the spot, theres no grand arc that really takes us by surprise, theres no new bad guy who matches the levels of Vegeta, Frieza or Cell. It just feels that they want to make toys, games, characters that can be dlc or toys but no new challenge for the dragonball universe. Beerus and Jiren both became almost a joke in how they were pushed to the side.

Super has hype. it's just that it's difficult for the writers to make a story with a serious narrative in that series.. manga or anime... it's a good looking,but it will always disappoint you due to the series being mostly garbage.
Daima has no hype due to stupid ideas... But it's easier for the writers to make a story and it has more inspiration behind it compared to Super which i heard,I guess it will be no power creep.
