I just came across your video blog and so far I love it. I started on Ep 4 - 5. SO keep up the good work. Thanks for saying about the reason for not flying anymore. I receive 100% disability from the VA - I was a US Navy Cryptologic Technician for many years. I had a brain tumor on my right temporal lobe. It took a few years for me to be able to work. I worked part time and went to college on their dime. Now I can't work but I dream of sailing some day AGAIN. I take care of a wife who has leukemia and a 87 year old mother in-law. I used to sail in the Ft Myers, Sanibel, Captiva, Pine Island area of SW Florida.
With COVID 9 going on it is a joy watching you from the get-go loving all of them, in fact, I've spun back to the beginning of your adventures. So glad that I found you.
I've been watching your videos for a while along with some other sailing folks. I'm still a few years away from the purchase of my catamaran. I hope to run into you one day and share some cold beers in some tropical island. Congratulations on chasing your dream and sharing it with all of us. Cheers and stay safe.
I sail on another person's 34' C&C for beer can races around the buoys--be sure to keep an eye on the keel bolts as they can loosen; at the end of every season we find about a 1/4" gap between the keel and the stem on the hull. Looking forward to following your sailing adventures. B.
