It’s amazing how many wonderful quilt shows there are!! Of course you need amazing quilters to have the shows!! You are certainly one of them!! I so so enjoy your videos of all your travels!!!!!
Thank you for sharing your visits to quilt shows and stores! I love them all. You are very lucky indeed! Here in Argentina there are no quilt stores, patchwork is not so popular. We have different sort of textile art such as " murales en telar" which are created by aborigins. I fell in love with the quilt that portrays an old lady sewing by the window! El juego de luces es increíble! I wish I were there!
Oh my word this was so much fun! Gorgeous quilts. If I’d waited another week or so to visit my parents, I could have seen this show. I live in PA and have seen this shown once and it was truly one of the nicest ones I’ve been to. Thank you for sharing.
Wow! What a great show! I'm very happy to see the trend going to more scrappy quilts! And, Anna, thank you for showing us the fabric printer! How exciting!
Anna the quilts are so beautiful. My only problem as a beginning quilter is that I am so new, that I wonder if I could ever advance to that kind of work. Is is discouraging to see all that needs to be learned with so little time. I’m sure the ladies making these works of art have been quilting for years & have so much training. Meanwhile, I will be happy with my beginner stages & keep enjoying the beautiful artwork that is on display. Thank you for sharing 👍🏻
Hey...you are like me. I don't have the drive to create like some of these quilters but it doesn't prevent me from enjoying my little corner of the world. Welcome to my world, lol
Don't be dismayed. These shows are for the best of the best. I've been quilting for over 40 years, mostly hand applique pictorials and art quilts, and still wouldn't consider entering my work into a show like this. Just enjoy what you do, and make time for your craft so your skills can grow. Many of us had to put leisure aside and focus on careers and family, and have just now returned to full-time fiber art. There still won't be time to do all the creative projects we'd like, so we're getting pickier about what we do. What appeals to you: enjoying the colors and textures, competition, remembrance quilts for family? Whatever it is, enjoy the journey.
Thank you for the tour and the music .. I play your videos over and over to watch & then over again while I sew & quilt for the music; please tell G to compile a CD for sale “Music to Quilt By” I think it would sell to solid gold!
I joined your channel about 2 months ago and have enjoyed the shows so much. I too, love Mr. G’s music and would be honored to have some recordings. Maybe he would consider it just for your followers. He is very talented and his music is snappy and lighthearted. We could all use that in our lives.
Thanks Anna great birthday present sitting here watching this amazing show with my hubby. Can you answer a question about the ribbons what do the colours stand for they all looked like 1st prize winners to me ,thanks again .
they had different things written on them...like views choice, 1st prize in different categories...so there were several 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices but they were in different categories :)
Glad I managed to stay out of most of your shots. It was fun meeting your Bend friends and running into the Twisted Sisters again. They are such lovely ladies and friends. Same time next year?
I am thinking we need to make it a yearly event if life doesn't interfere...see you at the Sisters Show??? The Twisted Sisters are going to be a featured group!!!
Well, there's another quilt show I can say "I've been to". Thanks for taking me along, with all the other quilters. Just beautiful! I'll just keep plugging away and maybe a design or two will make it to that level. And you, Anna!! You quit gloating over all the Oregon and Washington signs indicating the quilt shops there. LOL Meanwhile, we're quilting starving up here in central Canada!! Well as long as we can still order from your shops and there's purchased downloadable patterns I'll be okay.
Amazing! Anna, Thanks for such a detailed look at these incredible works of art! Is this exhibition held every year in the same place? I want to put this on my list when we come over to visit friends in 2 years time. Oregon looks beautiful - some similarities to parts of New Zealand. What time of year is best to visit that area, maybe late Spring ? thanks.
Beautiful quilts! That boat quilt I actually thought was a photo at first! Lol Very unique and creative quilts! Thanks so much for taking us along!

I am totally in agreement with you Jan, I do enjoy the music.
closeups are useful, but it would be nice to see the quilts from far enough away to get the overall feel of them.
