"Shot in the knees by Raul Menendez" remember Archetype Woods in BO4 "it was you in the box Mason it's always been you" and Mason is the one in the wheelchair? What kinda weird switch shit is going on? Shot in the knees can apply to both Mason and Woods since in the video in this game and promos the BO 2 Flashback mason gets shot in the knee too and the developer didnt really give us a straight answer either. Just a thought. Also "Mason gone" not "Mason Dead"
3:30 i’ve seen this many times and if you look at both of their Status which is “REDACTED” but if you zoom in and look closely, you can see Mason’s Status begins with UNK which would be “UNKNOWN” now why is his status unknown instead of dead? Because he isn’t dead. Same goes for Reznov, if you look really close you can see his status is also “UNKNOWN” 🙃
If anything I like to think that Adler is a Key to Mason’s Canonical Fate. We also know Mason has the ability to use the Numbers. So what if Mason put an extra whammy on Adler and has been watching everything via Adler’s Rabbit Holes maybe even fighting with him ever since he went AWOL?
"I haven't seen you in 30 years" said in 2025 meaning mason hasn't been seen since ~1995 where he is believed dead. Meaning he *could* be seen in bo6 Whould be interesting if Mason allied rogue/underground similar to Alex from mw19 While I forgot what it's is off hand but there is a hint early in bo2 Alex is alive
Just like how bo2 had half of the missions taking place in the late 80’s I personally think bo7 will have that aswell.. but then how mason is undercover and how he survived all these years.
I didn't know that you either can shot him in the head or in the knee and have two different endings! Unbelievable. Love your contents everything is so clear now ! I hope he is alive ;)
In fact, both endings may even mean Mason's survival. He has a grave in any case, as he will officially be considered KIA. If he is still alive despite the scene at the grave, he may simply have stayed hidden for longer or died in the meantime. Should he have ventured back into the public eye in 2025, everyone will know that he is still alive. Why everyone? Wood's sentence "No, the dead speak to me" could well be interpreted to mean that he has heard from Mason via letters or hidden messages, for example, but without authentication that it really is Mason and without the chance to reply. Decisive for the question of whether Mason survived Wood's shot I would actually say is the question of which cutscene is canon. The one with the hole in the head or the one without.
What i don't understand is why no one is talking about the playable characters like bell and case. And what i mean is what happened to knowing your character or at least getting to like them through voice lines. These campaigns feel like how the original call of duty games felt where all you have is a name. No cutscenes, no dialog and in bells case you did have "dialog" but you don't even hear him speak. Bo1 mason was a huge part of the cutscenes and everything. Bo2 woods and David, same thing. Even that one mission as farid he talks in game. I miss that aspect of connecting with characters
I always remember earing people say the cannon ending was mason dying but now I'm just confused. I hope mason living is the cannon one due to mason being one of the best characters.
not to mention that they did not specify how he died... ether leg shot or headshot we are lead to believe that he is dead no matter the choice so for them to not specify that he was killed by a headshot still leave the speculation of the legshot and him being alive
I like to think Perseus or Pantheon took him and tried to make him believe Woods and David are dead, but realized he wasn’t able to be controlled, then what we see and play is that journey of him trying to escape or some shit idk

Gotta luv Inkslasher's videos. Love the investigative work, the nostalgia.. wow.. BO2 really took me back.. unbelievable..keep em coming bro! 💯✊🏽😎👌🏽🇬🇧 🤝🏽 🇨🇦
The BO2 ending with Mason alive is so cool. The music, the effects, the dialogue, the whole storyline, Alex meeting him again, Woods, everything.
“My name is…….”
Happy Mason giving.
Guess we’ll know for certain in black ops 7
Happy thanksgiving mr callofduty lore guy
Happy thanksgiving man
dieser Mann ist nun deutsches eigentum
Alex has been confirmed dead many times, i think him being alive makes the story worse
Well, what about the Black Ops story summary where Mason doens't have the bullet on his head and where they used the scene of when Mason survives?
You mean next year....
Try not to content farm challenge. Level: Impossible
Reaching further than Plastic Man
im early plus i really enjoy your content and if i could I would watch it all, everytime and everywhere because im a very big fan of Call of Duty since I was a little kid. I love your content and everything about the Call of Duty series, keep doing what you're doing and never give up. May God bless you all.
you make a better job keeping cod fresh than activision itself. don't watch as many of your videos as before but keep up with the good work
"Shot in the knees by Raul Menendez" remember Archetype Woods in BO4 "it was you in the box Mason it's always been you" and Mason is the one in the wheelchair? What kinda weird switch shit is going on? Shot in the knees can apply to both Mason and Woods since in the video in this game and promos the BO 2 Flashback mason gets shot in the knee too and the developer didnt really give us a straight answer either. Just a thought. Also "Mason gone" not "Mason Dead"
“Turns out you’re a lousy shot”
3:30 i’ve seen this many times and if you look at both of their Status which is “REDACTED” but if you zoom in and look closely, you can see Mason’s Status begins with UNK which would be “UNKNOWN” now why is his status unknown instead of dead? Because he isn’t dead. Same goes for Reznov, if you look really close you can see his status is also “UNKNOWN” 🙃
Because that photo is from BO1 where Mason went rogue from 1964-68, and Reznov was captured in Vorkuta
I like watching your vids they are really informative
I just think Corey doesn’t want Mason to be dead… along with how COD be.
It's getting to the point where I actually want him to be dead just so I can stop seeing people speculating about him
What if, and hear me out
Harrow wasn’t the only mole, what if mason is a mole too
How else would he get out of Panama without a dead body being found?
In my canon event, I sadly shot him in the head. 😔
That point about the clip of mason being shot in the leg being used for the story so far video is crazy. Thats got to be deliberate.
Lmao he turns in a board
“Well I wasn’t in Panama..”
@5:22 in black ops 2, specifically the ending where mason lives, woods was surprised mason was alive so no way would ‘gone’ would have not meant dead
I have never clicked on a video so fast unconsciously.
"Don't do that, dont give me hopes"- hawk eye
Love your video
I have a proposal for a Black Ops 7 campaign. Where was Mason for 30 years after Panama? Running his own covert ops team from a safehouse.
To be fair it's hard to know either way cause in bo2 Mason dosent reveal himself as still Alive untill 2025 woods also believed he was dead
„Where is mason?“ one of the first questions i had in bo6
"I haven't seen you in 30 years" said in 2025 meaning mason hasn't been seen since ~1995 where he is believed dead. Meaning he *could* be seen in bo6
Whould be interesting if Mason allied rogue/underground similar to Alex from mw19
While I forgot what it's is off hand but there is a hint early in bo2 Alex is alive
Mason!!!!!! Then the black ops 2 music plays I just love it 😄
How many times bro gonna upload same video
Just like how bo2 had half of the missions taking place in the late 80’s I personally think bo7 will have that aswell.. but then how mason is undercover and how he survived all these years.
He actually has a point here, I do hope mason is alive
I really hope this means that Mason is back hey woods you’re like hammer shit
Well my brain wasn't in my head

What i don't understand is why no one is talking about the playable characters like bell and case. And what i mean is what happened to knowing your character or at least getting to like them through voice lines. These campaigns feel like how the original call of duty games felt where all you have is a name. No cutscenes, no dialog and in bells case you did have "dialog" but you don't even hear him speak. Bo1 mason was a huge part of the cutscenes and everything. Bo2 woods and David, same thing. Even that one mission as farid he talks in game. I miss that aspect of connecting with characters
can you please please do a video about the computer in bo cold war? i’m so interested and i can’t figure it out
He’s alive. Treyarch picked that cutscene on purpose and that’s not a mistake they would make
I always remember earing people say the cannon ending was mason dying but now I'm just confused.
I think Mason is alive and Woods does bring up a valid question where has Mason been for 30 years?
If they do end up returning Mason, they should not make him around Woods and the others
I like to think Perseus or Pantheon took him and tried to make him believe Woods and David are dead, but realized he wasn’t able to be controlled, then what we see and play is that journey of him trying to escape or some shit idk
Yes he's definitely alive
Mason being “dead makes sense hence the good ending for Bo2 Mason returns 30 years after and surprised David and woods
Mason is believed dead, by everyone in the story, that's all they ever meant with Mason being dead
They should make something like a background of alex what he was doing after the events of black ops 2 . Like what he was doing 30 years until the end of black ops 2
