Considering that the fan is back here I think there is a good chance that whenever the next Paper Mario game comes out the fan will be present there as well

I feel like the developers missed an opportunity use cuz they could've made Captain T Ode the partner for this region, he could've given you insight on the statues of toads on each of the islands and could also have had an intriguing story arc where we find out about his history with King Shroomses and how he was frozen, and in return Ode would try to redeem himself and show he's changed by giving back his submarine to the Shangri Spa toads after defeating Tape, so just why are we alone in this section of the game?
