Reid on Jund vs. Humans in Modern. He was so so far behind but he put on an absolute master class in managing resources and understanding the route to victory, to end up winning the game. I used to study that video to gain insight about piloting aggro vs. midrange decks!
I have played against Reid Duke in person, and he is not an easy person to win against. I admire his work, and he is my all time favorite pro, and got the opportunity to tell him that in person, good work Reid.
25:00 I think of Reid Duke and his career and legacy as so much more than match and tournament results. He is truly an inspiration to me. I think of Reid as a content creator, a writer, a Pro Tour Hall of Famer, a grinder, and now at long last a Pro Tour Champion. I get my most well-used mantra from listening to Reid's process, play and writing. No matter what it is that I am pursuing - I try my best. Thank you for the interview. Even more congratulations to Reid! 🎉🥳🎉
The points that Reid highlights about the event reminds me of the importance of the Gathering aspect of Magic. It's importance seems to get overlooked and yet it's part of the title of the game itself. It was great seeing Reid win, I've been rooting for him for the last few years and seeing him get this one made me happy for him.
Wow! Way late to this but this interview is amazing. Reid’s thoughts on how competitive and casual Magic support each other were super well spoken and thoughtful. Love all of these, keep it up!
Man what I wouldn't give to watch Reid playing a control deck in legacy again. The coverage of "Duke-apalooza" at GP Richmond in 2018 was hands down the best magic content ever made. Having a hot mic on the players as they talk through a format as complex as legacy was such a joy to watch.
We all love reid, i love reid but you’re so far off. Daigo is in the goat convo, reid isnt even top 5 i mtg. I wish he was but there are guys with double digit top8s and multiple wins. I hope reid does achieve daigo levels one day no doubt.

As a casual commander player who religiously watched the pro tour, it was nice of Reid to defend us. Enjoyed the episode.

As well as the classic line
"sometimes you just win your bad matchups"

I’ve rewatched that GP so many times, some of my all-time favorite coverage. I wish we could support more of it!!
I rewatch that GP regularly
Happy for the Duke! We all know he worked hard and deserved the W
What bogles took from you, they gave back.
Congratulations Reid!
Great interview!! as a Duke fan, it was absolutely great to watch him win !
Awesome interview, great job! The Pro Tour was a blast to watch, happy to see Reid pick up the win
That's why Reid is in the Hall of Fame!
Great interview! Thanks for asking unique and interesting questions.
I really agree, the game is much better for having both a strong casual and competitive scene. And there is a lot of overlap, it's just a bit subtle
Good job Reid!
Reid is honestly who Daigo is to Street Fighter

Holy s**t, there's still a pro tour?
It's baaaaaaaaaack!
