Oh my gosh. I am so sad I missed you. I live in Little Rock and would have loved for you to meet me and my son. We watch you almost everyday. He's 15 months and your videos always make him smile. Daddy loves them too since I'm disabled and don't get to really travel much. I love your videos thanks for visiting my state! Planning on going to the fair myself this weekend and taking Carter for his first time
Dear sweet carpet Bagger if texted before that due to my CHF I have leg wounds that require home nurses everyone gets to watch carpet bagger cause I always have it on. My nurse that I had before I was watching you.was assigned to me again she watch you with me she asked me to send you a comment after we watched the last state fair she said to tell you she's terrified of going on rides but she enjoyed watching you ride and told me she things you are awesome to do that for people like her. So love from Annette and her nurse Chris we love you carpetbagger!!!!😂😊
Been great to watch what happens at your state fairs from the UK, missing 3 fairs though and from the pumpkins you have showed, the biggest so far was at the North Carolina State fair with a size of 2124 lbs (to save you going back through your vids)
As a Nebraskan who travels to Colorado almost every year, Pueblo to Grand Island is a pretty easy drive, especially now since they expanded I-25 south of Denver.
If you have time, I'd recommend visiting the Oregon State Hospital next year. It's about 5 miles from the state fair grounds, is a working prison for the criminally insane and has a small museum. It was also where they filmed a lot of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
Aww man the Spaceship ride has been tamed down. I remember seeing how far up the wall you could climb and hang upside down & the fight to reach and hold on to the center bars before getting slammed back into the wall…also
In case you didn't know, here in Michigan we have two state fairs. In addition to the one on Detroit there is a Upper Peninsula State Fair in Escanaba, which is supposedly better than the fair in Detroit. It is scheduled for August 11 to 17, 2025, just to give another option to consider.
Nevada State Fair used to be in Reno until they moved it to Carson in 2013. I would go every year, back then the fair was at least 5 days. Not happy they moved it to Carson, I miss it being here. But, I will look forward to seeing it with you again. Thank you Jacob for all your effort and hard work!
As a former resident of Salem MA, I can tell you it’s crazy busy on Halloween! The good news is it’s a Thursday this year, so it will be more manageable. Plan to eat on the go. Restaurants are all gonna have long wait times
Thoroughly enjoyed your agony on the last of your fair rides for the year 🤣 I'm so sad the fairs are over, this was an awesome segment. Can't wait until next year . Hopefully many more amusement parks . Until next year fairs ♡
Absolutely love the channel! Looks like I missed you at the fair by one day! Right next to Barton Coliseum I seen many great concerts there back in the day. I live in Little Rock the state there’s always a blast.
When I was a teenager the pirate ship, the gravitron and the swings were the three rides I would I would do over and over again. If I had to do it now I’d probably go with the carousel or the Ferris wheel, something simple and non nauseating. I love your state fair videos, they’re some of my favorite and visiting 40 of them is quiet the accomplishment. I hope you get to complete your goal of making it to all 50. I’ll look forward to watching you scream on crazy rides and walk through more fun houses next fair season.
I really love this video made my night normally I watch you 1st thing in the morning but was in a rush 4 work glad you had a blast I did watching you lol be safe
Jacob, we lived in Idaho 15 years, the Western Idaho State Fair is better unless you want a very rural, smaller fair in the East. Thanks for the videos!
Alligators are native to Arkansas, Jacob. There is also alligator hunting season in September in Arkansas; information is online. Great vlog, as always.
Thanks for getting to as many state fairs as you could this year. I have only attended a few neighboring state fairs from Pennsylvania. It was always nice to see what other states have. Some were really large with permanent buildings for the livestock and other exhibitions. You could see how many of the state fairs use the same midway ride companies. The haunted and fun houses were the same as were the portable roller coasters and wild mouse rides. The more permanent fairgrounds usually had sky way ski lift type ride to get you from one end of the midway to the other. It was nice to see you try some of the more wild rides this year. You road many rides I never would ride even when I was younger. You asked what ride I would ride several times? In my case if it was a longer ride that showed off most of the fairgrounds, it would be the train ride since you most likely would notice different things every time you road.
I can't wait for the rest of the state fair videos next year. Because these State fair videos from you are excellent. Even though you did miss all of the weird and strange food options at the Oklahoma state fair, you just got BB-Q. I even typed out a comment a few days before you visited it so you could try to check some of it out. That made me sad.
“Fairs Before Scares” was a fun adventure and a great success!!! I’m so excited for the Scares now. Especially happy that you’ll be filming at Salem on Halloween 🎃🖤🧡
Hey Carpetbagger, I’m from Eastern Idaho and I would definitely recommend the Eastern Idaho State Fair in Blackfoot, but I may be biased 😅. It’s usually scheduled for the first week in September.
Our Michigan Sttate fair is at Suburban Showcase in Novi. Very compact and fun fair. Small but mighty. Alot of animals and air conditioned in door market. Hope to see ya there.
30:20 I'm sure plenty a kid has gotten the crap scared out of them by the Ring of Fire as their first upside down ride. Forward, backward, AND hanging upside down high in the air for a significant amount of time.
This by far has been a fun adventure. I love the fair Vlogs. Tip for Salem: Make sure you are already booked. Note Salem is going to be super crowded, resturants will be packed. Parking will be tight so if your going to be there for downtown events get their Early. Wear some really good walking shoes. Last thing Have an Absolute Blast. There is nothing like Salem on Halloween. I loved every minute.
Wow. Salem for Halloween. That's absolutely a bucket list item for me as well, given my deepest interest in the paranormal and all things weird. I can't make it this year, but I will make it eventually.
WE ARE READY FOR SCARES!! We’ve been waiting patiently through the fairs!! (We are loyal viewers and will watch everything you put out regardless) Now it’s on! We expect you to hit it hard! 😂 LET’S GET IT ON! 👻🎃🧛♂️
Well, since you`re gonna be doing Salem, you might just wanna go a couple days earlier and tackle "Haunted Overload"in Lee,NH.....It`s been done a couple times on YT,but the owners of the place keep adding to the size of it,so it might just be more exciting than Salem........Give it a shot--have only heard good things about it.
Hi Jacob ❤ I watch u EVERYDAY!!!! Not gonna lie I'm super jealous about Salem for Halloween but, thanks to you we're gonna be there 😊 soooooo excited !!! Great video today ❤ (as always) safe travels my friend. ✌️❤️🙂
Hello Carpetbagger! Wow I can't believe the state fair season is over. 40 states , WOW ! I'm sure you hold some type of word record! Love your videos! I watch your videos everyday!
Hey Carpetbagger! Next year you’ve gotta go to the Arkansas and Oklahoma state fair that takes place in a city called Fort Smith Arkansas it’s about 2.5-3 hours away from Little Rock.
Hello Jacob the Carpetbagger for Michigan you might consider the Upper Peninsula State Farm which is held for a longer period of time. It is held in Escanaba and I would believe would be more enjoyable. It is held in August.
The last time I rode that spinning UFO I ended up immediately puking in the trash can conveniently placed at the exit. That's a powerful way to learn a lesson.
Thanks for visiting our state fair. The rabbits used to be a lot more. There's a rabbit show and it was a big thing for 4-H members. I used to show bunnies almost 15 years ago and we had to share the barn with the the chickens since it was the only place that could house multiple cages. The entire building was filled with cages and most were even doubled up. Edit: Also anyone who says Arkansas has no alligators is straight up lying. I know for a fact that Lake Degray near Arkadelphia has alligators and so does the Ouachita River
I remember when Jacob would barely go on the rides. 😂😂 My goodness he has come so far. Much credit to the man....wouldn't catch me doing it! 😅❤
We need a Roller Coaster Carpetbagger Pin, similar to his Doom Buggy one
😎✌️
Your dedication to finishing all 50 state fairs is inspiring
48 Continental
I don't think he ventured to Hawai'i, and I'm pretty sure Alaska doesn't have one 😎✌️
Congratulations on attending 40 State fairs. Now, it's haunt season!
Oh my gosh. I am so sad I missed you. I live in Little Rock and would have loved for you to meet me and my son. We watch you almost everyday. He's 15 months and your videos always make him smile. I sure have enjoyed tagging along with you to all the state fairs this year! Can't wait to see you attend the last 10! God bless you and Jenn😊💕
It will probably be 8. I don't believe Hawai'i or Alaska have them. 😎✌️
A start to saving for Alaska or Hawaii! Looking forward to them and especially SCARES!!!
Oh my gosh you made me laugh, esp. the AlpineBob ride: "NO MORE BOB! NO MORE BOB!"
Dear sweet carpet Bagger if texted before that due to my CHF I have leg wounds that require home nurses everyone gets to watch carpet bagger cause I always have it on. 40 state fairs is pretty impressive. When you get to 50 that will be totally incredible.
I don't think Hawai'i or Alaska have them, so 40 out of 48 is Damn Good
😎✌️
@@gilbertgranby9339 both do have state fairs but Hawaii is really short just over memorial day weekend. Alaska is during August.
@@larryholtcamp3291
Thanks for that info. Those may not be in his travel budget it; but would make for an Amazing Adventure. 🤔✌️
@@gilbertgranby9339 👍
@@gilbertgranby9339 Alaska has a state fair. I'm from Pa and we do not have a state fair.
As a Nebraskan who travels to Colorado almost every year, Pueblo to Grand Island is a pretty easy drive, especially now since they expanded I-25 south of Denver.
I knocked on wood for you, when you said , you never tripped! Just a little insurance...lol!!
If you have time, I'd recommend visiting the Oregon State Hospital next year. It's about 5 miles from the state fair grounds, is a working prison for the criminally insane and has a small museum. It was also where they filmed a lot of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.

Omg bless u u really went for it today what fun
I am glad you were able to visit the state fairs, that is awesome!! You have great reactions on the rides, have a great week!
Carpetbagger running from kids in bumper cars made my day
My favorite ride is the Tilt-A-Whirl ❤️
Congrats Jacob! Thanks for bringing America to my home! Thank you!!
You do the same as me on bumper cars I try to just drive around & avoid getting bumped. I thought I was the only person who did that 😅😂
Tulsa state fair!! That big expo building and Golden Driller…some Oklahoma history
Congratulations on going to 40 state fairs thank you for the fair video s
14:50 Glad Jacob didn't notice the Black Widow hanging out under that sign. 😅 Sheesh!!! 😮
@33:43 OMG Jacob the faces you make while on these rides are PRICELESS!🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
Cool! You’re in my neck of the woods!
I live just 30 minutes away, I’m one of your biggest fans and love your post cards, this video made me laugh watching your face while you rode!
Good Morning " YA ALL " Jacob the Carpetbagger..!!
Celebrating Jacob's survival after his brush with death at 14:45 🎉
In case you didn't know, here in Michigan we have two state fairs. In addition to the one on Detroit there is a Upper Peninsula State Fair in Escanaba, which is supposedly better than the fair in Detroit. It is scheduled for August 11 to 17, 2025, just to give another option to consider.

Thanks for visiting us in ole Arkie! 🤠 yall come back now!
@14:49 Good thing you didn't see that giant spider!
Saw you last night at Netherworld. Excited for the video.
Bob's used to stop and then go backwards. That's what killed me as a kid. Loved the rocking music.
Hi Jacob. Love the concert you gave today on the video. Johnny Cash would’ve been proud.
Come on down to Miami around March for the Dade County Youth Fair. It's right up your alley.
Thoroughly enjoyed your agony on the last of your fair rides for the year 🤣 I'm so sad the fairs are over, this was an awesome segment. Can't wait until next year . Hopefully many more amusement parks . Until next year fairs ♡
That ferris wheel was going at warp speed.😂❤

Wellllllll....Well it's the Big Show!!!
Your version of Ring of Fire was beautiful. Lol Congrats on making it to 40 state fairs!
The Big Show joke popped me.
Big Show is a bastard and his momma just told the whole world! Ha ha!!!

If you do the Idaho State Fair you can stop by & hit the Napoleon Dynamite filming locations 😊
Well hello carbagger it's amazing to see another amazing video have a amazing time today
Been a fun ride Jacob. Looking forward to the next 10
You’ve got to add one day to each of those fairs. You have to count the start and end dates so Nevada is 4 days and Wyoming is five days.
Hello Carpetbagger! Wow I can't believe the state fair season is over. 40 states , WOW ! I'm sure you hold some type of word record! Love your videos! I watch your videos everyday!
Great state fair #40! As for your trip to Salem, Ma go to the International Monster Museum in the mall. It’s worth it.
U made me a happy clam by going on the gravitron!
I go to the Western state fair in Idaho. It's pretty good.
But it's usually is very crowded
I've been to the Western Idaho Fair. It is quite large. Never been to the eastern one.
Welcome to my state Arkansas be safe

The bobs always had the best music playing
Spooky season. My favorite. Love all your videos.
Aw thats my fair ! Hate i missed ya ! Enjoy!
That was a gnarly spider under the heaviest pumpkin sign 😳
I wonder if the kids have insurance for their bumper cars 😂
Thanks for visiting our state fair. The rabbits used to be a lot more. There's a rabbit show and it was a big thing for 4-H members. Welcome to Arkansas. Back in the day everyone graduated at Barton coliseum.
As always the carousel is my fav ride. Loved the kangaroo.
Yes that is correct Nevada's Carson valley State Fair is on June because a Carson valley Day 😉 and also Nevada day 2
