+Drian Engelbrecht don't remove it, unhook the cable and lock the valve in the openposition with some steelwire, and set your idle a little bit higer. you lose some power in the bottomend, but hey... you drive a fireblade, like you ever drive under the 6000rpm ;)

my bike runs like shit at 3000RPM now.

temp is normal, red light is the code for the valve.
How long would it take to remove this valve? And how does it improve the bike? I assume it makes it leaner but what more? lol! I also have a 929 :)
