This is so powerful. 😭Getting Jindo to make arrangements of Adol's history hits home. Favourite composer, favourite series, favourite protagonist. Thank you Falcom! 💜
The greatest red-haired game hero to ever wield a sword and travel what is essentially our planet flipped into a fantasy world. Such a fantastic and legendary adventurer surely deserves the best music, right? And Mr. Jindo certainly delivers on that front here. Thank you for the preview, Falcom Music Channel. I'm definitely getting this album.
To me it feels as though it's the only Ys V track that exists in Falcom's eyes and they forgot about all the others... Field of Gale already got arranged by Jindo in 2012. Theme of Kefin was the most logical pick for this, imo
@@AokiKatsumataField of Gale is the special one in Ys V for Japanese players, but I also love Kaneda’s songs from Ys V like Niena and Battle Against Fate
Was aboot to say this. I really hope Falcom gives us that Ys5 remake like the other Ys games before T_T. This is right up there with Zelda and Alundra's overworld themes man.
Iclucian Dance has been my ringtone since I first played Ys VIII, love this rendition of it! Mr. Jindo really outdid himself. Can't wait for the full release.
Oh man, Jindo rearranged Valestein Castle, my favorite Falcom track ever? I can't wait to hear Teramae give a go at it (will he top Goto?). Looking forward to a SAV of Mighty Obstacle too. Thank you, Falcom, Jindo.
This reminds me of how much I enjoyed my chronological run of the series. For fans of the series, it's worth a go, especially since the gameplay style switches with (almost) every installment when you play in that order; it really helps keep the gameplay from getting stale even when you're playing back-to-back.
To at least be a *tiny* bit fair to Singa, it’s either a massive hit, or it’s a wild miss. I’m not a music expert, but I think if he can fix how he mixes and what instruments he uses, he could be fine and his wild misses can turn into decent songs. But Jindo on the other hand either makes some of the greatest music pieces in video game OST history, or just makes a song that’s very good. There isn’t a chance for him to produce something that’s just straight up bad, unlike Singa.
@@grandruby5343 Thats the best part. Singa compositions that have an arrangement by Jindo show that the original could work with as little effort as a different choice of instruments and better mixing.
@@grandruby5343 I have yet to find a massive Singa hit in this post-CS4 era. Ys VIII, and to a lesser degree CS3 and CS4, have his most memorable tracks. Alright, first impressions, one at a time: *Theme of Adol*: Different direction from in-game; want to hear more of it. *To Make the End of Battle*: Really good. The Ys Chronicles arrange was already really good but this one sounds better. *Ys - Lost Ancient Kingdom -*: Beautiful. *Foliage Ocean in Celceta*: Blows away Sonoda's arrangement. Thank you, Jindo. *Valestein Castle*: I don't like the violin. I don't like Jindo's insistence on shoehorning in violin solos into many rock tracks because it usually falls flat with me. Valestein Castle should be shredding at all times. Other than that, I also like Goto's guitar more. *Prelude to the Adventure*: No strong, personal attachment to this one (and I love Felghana). Sounds fine though. *Field of Gale*: I want to play Ys V. *Iclucian Memories*: Jindo improving the best Singa track. Surprised Pikachu face. *Seek the Winged People*: I don't remember the name of the track that this is based on but I recognize it for sure and this arrange is solid. *Mighty Obstacle*: The arrange we didn't deserve. Can't wait to hear the full version. *Crossing Rage*: As a general rule, Osaki and Jindo go together like peanut butter and chocolate. Not surprised at all that I like this one. *Cloaca Maxima*: Ok sure Jindo, whatever. If you were arranging another Ys 9 track I would have preferred you pick something like In Profile, On Belfry to see if you could improve on perfection, but arrange your own track again sure. That said, this sample really is better than the original Cloaca Maxima lol *The Adventure Goes On*: The wonderfully sentimental The Boy Who Had Wings arrangement. You can feel Jindo's love ;_; Thank you, my lord.

man I really want to hear Jindo arrange Smashing Through the Mountain Path. this or Ys X were probably some of the only chances of that happening but rip
I think most of this selection was imposed on him. Why else would he arrange Cloaca when it's already perfect and is also the song he's most proud of? And why would he choose to arrange tracks he already arranged in the past (Valestein Castle, Field of Gale, Crossing Rage)? I'm sure he'd rather do some other ones. But with Falcom, a tracklist full of "attractive" titles must look better, more lucrative...
Yo, I don't know what the hell is going on in To Make the End of Battle, but I'm all for it. Ok where does seek the winged people play in VI? I recently recompleted it and I don't remember it playing anywhere in there and I'm pretty positive that's slow on the waves from seven, later used again in VIII
