for those who want an easier option: at the pier, run over 8ball softly (too hard will kill him) after that you can now snipe those enemies without worrying

For me it is easy probably because I played a lot of Counter-Strike before getting to this mission. In fact you don't need to aim and shoot fast, you just have to memorize the positions of cartel and then kill them
I just replayed this mission today and passed it in one try which is crazy considering the amount of torment it gave me as a kid

This mission is technically given to you by 8-Ball. Salvatore Leone gives you Bomb da Base Act 1 which opens Act 2 which to start you have to see 8-Ball.

Wow I remember playing this mission when I was about 11 or so, and it took me a long, long time to finally finish!! So many attempts. I use to just go in like rambo and try to shoot everybody. I remember trying to block the path with the truck as well so 8ball couldn't get through. I bought the trilogy on PS store for PS4 and i'm playing this mission, tried to do the same thing with the truck but couldn't get it after 10 attempts. Decided to just watch a walkthrough and got it the first attempt lol. THANK YOU! I never knew you could get up there.
Same. I played this literally 2 seconds ago. I went up the stairs, but didn't get on the roof cause I didn't know you could get up there. The sensitivity is TERRIBLE on ps2, and he almost died multiple times because I couldn't aim quite right, but I somehow did it with my heart PUMPIN

When I first played this mission, the inverted aim really frustrated me. And now after thousands tries until actually beating this mission, I now only use inverted aim. Even in GTA 5. This mission really makes you master it.
This was one of the hardest missions for me as a kid when this game came out lol now it looks so easy haha

PC : Easy (1 try)
PS2 : Medium (still 1 try, but almost failed because my Dual Shock is slightly broken)
Mobile : Hard (9 tries, it's frustrating to control the camera and strangely 8 Ball run so fast compaed to other platform)

All you need to do was let 8 ball to be covered during this mission

+Im a train Fanatic that's what I did
8 ball must be protected at all costs. After you drop him off at the dock you get on the roof. As 8 Ball moves cross the dock Target the two goons by the jetty. After 8 Ball climbs the jetty take out the that rush him on the ship. Watch out for sneak attacks or 8 Ball will be killed. Once 8 ball sets the bomb get out of there before the ship blows up.

This game came out 13 years ago and I didn't get a chance to play it because I was quite young (my first GTA was SA) so I downloaded this off the PSN store and I'm already looking at guides for this mission, God damn this shit is way harder than I remembered it

it'll be easier if you block 8-Ball with 2 vehicles to make him unable walking through the path before start shooting the gangs, after that shoot em up, do it quick & he would be safe until the end...

This mission is so freakin damn difficult. ive already tried putting tanks On each side where 8 ball hides. Then i put 3 tanks on the ramp so 8 ball couldnt get in. (JUST making sure lol ) So then i went on the rooftop then i started sniping then still! 8 ball gets out of my trap (tanks) and then he got iced. FUCK this mission ive retried this for like 20 + times. GODDAMN. I CANT PASS THIS MISSION.

You should just follow the flow on the PC version when u use tablets. I thought the Turismo mission was hard on my iPad, but I followed what GTASERIES did. Like using the Mafia Sentinel and then I finished the mission very easily.
vitor rodrigues ferreira i gravitate towards the banshee almost exclusively...it's the most bang for the buck in handling vs speed...and nothing is better for stunts in this game
