- This is the best pokemon battles list in the pokemon anime. This is probably the greatest ranking of Ash Ketchum's Kanto battles. There are no better Pokemon battles in the Pokemon anime than Ash's Kanto battles. Ok maybe, but still. I hope we see Ash use some of these stars mentioned in pokemon journeys the series.

If you guys were including battles in journeys that took place in kanto I would put ash vs visquez because it was his first pwc win and what gave him confidence to keep moving on. Great vid tho, keep it up!
We could almost make this entire video about battles that happened in Kanto, but outside of the Original Series lol. From the Battle Frontier, to some World Coronation Series battles.... but no, Gooey didn't want to do that🤷

Thanks so much for covering the Blaine battle, so I no longer have to listen to Mark saying it's the most overrated battle in the show's history 😊 and I have zero complaints about the rankings, except I was hoping to see Misty vs Jessie in Princess vs Princess 😂
