I miss those old logos… they had character and uniqueness to them. Also nostalgia.

The thing with Brutalist buildings is it can be done really well and look amazing and beautiful. The Oldest House in Control is a good example of how a Brutalist style can look good. But it can also be an excuse for cheap, lazy, and ugly.

But yeah, it's possible for brutalist to work, but I think typically the people who choose beauty don't design brutality buildings, and those who do don't care about beauty, merely efficiency. =(
its like these companies bank on people knowing the old logos, but eventually, there is going to be more people tthat dont know the old logos, more than the ones that do know them.
I kinda like the Dunkin Donuts logo where they dunk the donut. I wish that was their logo still.

I think Netflix is trying to curb VPN usage with the password sharing rule stuff since what I have read is that they use IP addresses to figure out where 'home' is and using a vpn with a different IP will make it seem like it is not being accessed at home.

I love when people get mad because a company wants you to stop stealing their product or service. If you can't afford it, then you don't get it. There are many things I can't afford and I don't go stealing them.

However whike in Massachusetts I did see a donut shop same color shreme of DD of their logo and it was just a local pop donut shop
Since no one mentioned it, the "new" Jontron logo is rip-off of Tolkien's logo
I did notice that, as someone who spent a lot of time trying to do the same sort of thing with my initials, but I totally forgot to mention it. Also I think I sort of just assumed that...well basically it's a simple enough idea, I just didn't give JonTron enough credit that he was making a reference.

Honestly, when I see these oversimplified logos...I feel it just looks lazy to me. A lazy pile of shit, proving the companies want to hoard every scrap of money they can get while cutting corners, even with their own logos. -_-
