I was happily talking about how I was spreading the gospel online before I went to bed and I went to sleep smiling and telling God I’ll always be there to defend Him against ppl who don’t believe in Him but that night I had a nightmare there was a very hateful athiest in it being rude to ppl and mocking God and the Bible every chance he had and in my dream I prayed for him and then all the sudden I was in the jungle and a flood started happening fast and tons of snakes came out of nowhere and surrounded me and at the end of the dream one of them bit me and I screamed and I woke up out of breath and grabbing myself frantically cuz it felt so real
I have gotten nightmares even since I actively started Jesus. I called out to Jesus in my spirit and the enemy stops! I’ve had disturbing nightmares of relatives covered in blood, being choked and other vile things
I have a TBI and PTSD, nightmares have been the case my entire life- they’re lessening more and more as I walk with Christ, but they’re still there In a lot of dreams, I face the “attacker” and I overcome, but a lot of it is just confusion. I went through a lot of abuse as a kid, that’s how I got the TBI/nerve damage- a big part of my trauma as a kid was being forced to watch horror films before I was even in elementary school. Horror movies open portals do demonic attack.
Whenever i have gotten bad dreams from childhood, i have prayed the Hail Mary, I Believe, Our Father, sung a Hymn. But as i got older into adulthood, in the dream i would get breathless while saying the Hail Mary and so tired that i would have to stop and catch my breath. But could feel something eerie in the atmosphere in the dream and i would try to continue praying no matter how tired i feel. Even if i pray softly to save energy i will complete the prayer and say more prayers till i wake up. Finally i wake up. Once i sang a Hymn and the spirits in the dream sang along but i completely forgot the tune of the Hymn and they sang something random and i tried waking up twice but the dream fooled me thinking I'm awake when in fact i was still dreaming. I finally banged my head on the door in the dream and woke up on the bed with a bad headache. I ran to the bedroom where my parents slept, to sleep with them. This happened this year. I am 33. Not a child.
Wow, from long I was searching about this. Atlast I've got proper msg about my nightmares, even after praying about it I was not able to come out from it. And today God told me about this. I won't look back,whatever the situation or evil tells me negative emotions I won't leave god's fellowship. Thank u pastor.
