I grew up fishing there since I was under 10. I'm 35 now. Lake 2 has 5-6 rock piles which can be seen from walking from that bridge. Obviously the rock floating on water is one. I've caught a lot of fish over the 10lb club there. Every lake holds 10lb+ bass. Growing up there were hundreds of trees and wood in the water and mostly dirt roads. Now all the trees are removed and every road is paved. the lakes are very very bare compared to how they were 10 years ago. Over the years I've caught monsters all released. Big fish eat smaller fish.
Bro. The Solo skiff would be clutch at Lake Barrett( Dulzura). You should check it out. I think you'd really enjoy it if you wanna get into some freshwater bass.
Thanks for the video, always look forward to them. Haven't been there in decades. Try some of your squid if your looking for cats. I fish the canals here in Imperial Valley and didn't have any mackerel one day. Took some left over squid from a LJ trip and now its all I take if I have it (no one sells it down here). Good luck.
That place looks like Senko heaven.
Ah the majestic cow bull frog 😂😂😂

Is that a water reclaimation project posing as a lake?
It’s a camp ground so I’m pretty sure it’s purely recreational.
Awesome Mike, I grew up fishing Santee Lakes, and uses to kill them on the flukes. Thanks for sharing 👍
