GoodDay Denise.. my name is Marisol. And I've recently started doing the Wire & Beading Crafts.. And I Really Love the way you take your time and Explain Step by Step too your Followers/Viewers How to Make The Rings, etc..,etc. THANK YOU! NEW SUBSCRIBER! MARISOL BROOKLYN.. :)
Great, direct -to-the-point tutorial! Easy to follow. You gave essential bits of info, such as the difference in size that can occur. Thank you! New subbie!
The rings you made are beautiful! Love the precise tips too on hardening the wire. I’m going to use my rawhide mallet to do it. God bless you for helping us newbies in jewelry making 🙏❤️
Great! I can learn how to do this and can give them as gifts to my girlfriends. Better than store bought presents which are not only expensive, but meaningless....
I like this one it's not so hard like the others that I see and it's very interesting hopefully soon I can get some of these wire and I can make my own ring thank you
What kind of wire are you using? Your 20g wire looks a lot softer than the ones I have, which are coated copper craft wires, I believe. Plus, I'm having trouble finding beads that the wire will fit through 2x. Even the hole in an 8mm gemstone bead is usually too small.
I found the answer to my question about the wire in another video (although yours still looks a lot softer than mine), as well as how to make a wrapped rind with a small hole bead. Thanks!
1, 6-8 mm bead, 1 1/2 to 2 feet of 18-20 gauge wire or wire to fit your bead, wire cutters, chain nose pliers, ring mandrel or dowel, here’s a link to see my favorite tools, you can buy through the links or look around to see if there are other sellers you prefer, kit.com/denisemathew/getting-started-making-wire-jewelry hope this helps 😊
+Lesley Morgan thank you, I use silver plated copper wire. I like the brand that artbeads sells, called artbeads designer wire also, Bead smith plated wire is good as well. Hope this helps 😊
The best way to avoid this problem is to put 2 wires through your bead hole before you start to see if it will work, if it doesn’t fit you’ll need to get a bead with a bigger hole or use a smaller gauge wire. Good Luck.
I don’t think most wires at 20 gauge or near that can go through real semi-precious stones. It’s standard to have 1mm hole and 20g is around 0.8mm. So you can’t go through a real stone if 1mm hole with a huge wire like that. Also it’s not great to use a stone bead to hold wire together like that. I had to stop at 2 min mark. This is not a great design.
I wanted to let you know I love this tutorial, Thanks for sharing. I am learning how to make these rings. I love it!!!!!

Great tip with the hammering! I'd struggled with my rings being too soft. Thanks for sharing

Thanks, very good tutorial, and much appreciated as I learn wire jewelry making
When I start my bead class I’m going to do this.
I left the bead on after I put in both ends then wrapped it around the mandrel and it came out the same...thank you
Loved this.
Excellent tutorial!
I made some. The first ones were off but each attempt improves. My biggest issue is keeping the pearl or thing centered. It keeps coming up crooked
Looks like so much fun. Where can I get those ring tube-thing (I don't know what you call them)
it’s a ring mandrel, you can get them at beadaholique.com hope this helps 😊

I never use aluminum it’s usually always silver plated copper wire. 😊

hi loving your tutorials are you using sterling silver wire or plated non tarnish pls.
+Lesley Morgan thank you, I use silver plated copper wire. I like the brand that artbeads sells, called artbeads designer wire also, Bead smith plated wire is good as well. Hope this helps 😊
artbeads wire is the best wire I have found.
Love this and I can’t wait to try it! What gauge wire do you use?
I used a 20 gauge but you you use a bigger or smaller wire it’s all dependent on the size of the drill of your bead. 😊
Denise Mathew Thank You! 😄
Very beautiful love 😍 Maestra 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🇨🇴😚💕 thanks 🥰

Boa noite nossa gostei muito do seu trabalho lindo .
What kind of wire do you use?
Silver plated 20 gauge wire but you can use larger or down to 22 gauge of any wire you want as long as it’s very malleable. 😊
what wire do you use(please link it)
artbeads.com/designer-wire-by-artbeads/
Thank you 😊 going to try this
Thankyou
what if you don't have theses tools you have?
Then you must use your teeth.
My wire will not go through the bead twice.
The best way to avoid this problem is to put 2 wires through your bead hole before you start to see if it will work, if it doesn’t fit you’ll need to get a bead with a bigger hole or use a smaller gauge wire. Good Luck.

You can use 18-21 gauge wire (1.024mm - 0.723mm) or whatever size wire goes through your bead. Hope this helps. 😊
