One day, Jimmer and Steve will be a team on the Nürburgring 24H, in a Peugeot with Rich Energy livery. #betterthanredbull will be #1 trending on all social media and the crowd will go wild as they finish not last.
Possible team names (other than Rich Energy Racing)?

Dying O' Death
Spins, battery issues, full send mode, this is truly the Haas Rich Energy experience.
jimmy should have said "I think Ericsson hit us" while spinning
Lol
"I don't have a HUD in my eye, I'm NOT the Terminator™"
Funny, that sounds EXACTLY like what the Terminator™ would say...
"Where is my battery?"
"You will not have the battery"
"Bwoah"
"Is the battery on?"
"No you will not have it."
*You will not have the battery Kimi*
No water?
Like...forever!?
Mr Broadbent punching his own ticket to Shadow Realm station.
I'm going to agree.
Super GT doesn't have HUD?
I thought he was actually seeing stuff like tire wear and fuel % at all times along with the racing line.
How does he invite his friends
SLOW DOWN
he didnt have his google glasses that day
Fair play to Jimmy for giving it a good go. Takes a lot of courage I'm sure to wade out of his comfort zone, sim racing, and try his hand at real high quality go kart racing. I'm sure he will get fast really quick. Loved both your perspectives on the race.
This is basic karting, i think they pay 200 to take part using calibrated karts for weight and power to equalize the field. Its more about driver skills than high speeds. Higher spec karts like 125cc snr will do double this speed, and can cost £5000 for the weekend race.

Colton Heasley Hahaha underrated comment
This is going to be one of the best series going on UA-cam, the pro helping the newb to grow and we get to see it happen. Awesome-sauce.
you guys could try use chase cam next time, might help a little
I am so happy i found this channel, its so weirdly entertaining
Love these vids, one of the reasons im starting karting
Great to hear it mate. Good luck when you start!
@@Super_GT Thanks, always entertaining vids!

That's a very peculiar name for an adult entertainment actress.
Your vids are definitely very good, the cutting, window changes and commentary are very entertaining, definitely also a big reason why you have that much followers. Keep on to send it to us! Thanks
Many thanks mate, glad you like it!
I haven't actually started to watch the video yet, but I just wanted to tell you that I already love it!
Idk how u have so much time in ur hands going from starting in the pit lane to p5 and 20 seconds after Lewis cross the finish line u went on the radio to say “Get in there Lewis” and had time to race go karts too. U are a true LEGEND🏆🥇🍻
While being at the Russian GP racing for Red Bull, what a man
Pls help Jimmy with his camera next go. I couldn't watch his video about this race because it was all steering wheel.
Jimmer and his camera angles
i think it's just jimmy being a short boi. "chin" mounting works for steve but jimmer might need to mount it higher
Seriously, two of the most sweetest guys if there ever was...so mellow & really lovely people. Great going Jimmy & Steve :-)

Really like these karting videos man keep up the good work
When you've been watching SuperGT for years and spot your BMW Service Advisor in the video, refueling the karts. Then look him up and find out he is a multiple world/euro easykart champion. All hail Barnaby Pittingale :)
Sheila Morrison indeed and it was the name at the world finals that struck fear into them ‘Barn-arbee Peet-ing-ale’ I’m not kidding!

A bad day at the track is better than a good day at work...
BTW, I'm loving this series. I love watching people share their passion with others.
Your co-driver was in deep need of encouragement. You gave him just what he needed. ;) Thanks for the great ride!
Oh and by the way, it was brutal 1:48 = 20 seconds waiting for the gloves to go on. lol...
one day we’ll see supergt in a ginetta
I've just stumbled across your videos, they're fantastic viewing for an ex-racer, found myself willing you along, overtaking and turning into the corners with you, I can almost feel it. I raced karts in the late 90s, early 2000's in Super One and Champions of the Future series. Clay was my home track, it's been a really long time since I saw it, it's hardly changed!
"I don't have a HUD in my eye, I'm not the Terminator."
Well now I feel cheated.
I would love to see you making videos about kart driving, how to get better, techniques and etc
No offence, but that's pretty much what he's been doing.
If you listen to his commentary, it's chalked full of information, and driving strategies.
I've been finds it extremely helpful, as I want to try kart racing.
Only problem is I live in Canada, and karting isn't really that big.
You could just imagine how immense hockey is tho😂😂😂😂😜😜.
I really enjoy these video to say the least.
@@goodbyemr.anderson5065 thats true, it is really some valuable content, didn't stop to think that way. I'm from Brazil and we have some karting tracks but not that big also
i really love how you show the before's and after's of the races, it probably inspires me more to get into kart racing than you think by simply showing us the "realities" of the race, outside of the race if you know what i mean. this channel has really gained my respect to racing in general and it's a sport i would really want to get into now.
Great commentary as always. Love the mix of carts and sim
Would’ve gained 10 mins practise if he had his gloves on and ready to go 😂
The thing with Jimmy is something i have noticed myself, since I did my first ever season myself this year too. Im too at the low end because the people i race with have raced for a while. Did get a p3 in class, but that p3 was still p26 in total. (Out of 34)
@22:03 You did get someone on the first corner ;)
I really like seeing those videos of the team.
You love each other very much, it's nice to see such a friendship :)
Good stuff. Just watched this whilst trackside at Clay. Ready for Sprints.
4 minutes in and jimmy does a Vettel
Keep up the karting videos love them and learn something everytime.
I truly enjoy these videos on both of your channels. Really makes me want to start karting and get my son into when he is old enough
I wouldn't expect wheelspin on the grass to break anything, but if you were still spinning while making the transition to pavement, that shock could definetly snap something.
Over revving the motor is my first thought, great way to snap a connecting rod. Other than that, as a mechanic I couldn't see an issue, aside from what you said that is.
Great video Steve and brilliant driving. Also the meme potential of a team radio is through the roof.
Great video Steve! Sensational drive! Btw big props to Jimmy for not quitting or let that silly mistake put him down (racing needs patience amd Jimmy has that.) he may not be the greatest driver but he certainly enjoyed it! Everyone has to start from somewhere nobody is born an expert!
Really loving these karting videos.
Jimmy, this is Steve, pit this lap for a penalty
Great videos, keep up tehe good work, big fan of your karting vids!!!
Hey SuperGT its kinda hard to hear whats being said with the muffled helmets and all, maybe you could edit in some subtitles for next time?
Nice - it's also in the Racetrack Coach app!
keep at it Steve...the karting with jimmy is good stuff
Damn bro. Just lunging and gettin those moves DONE! Good stuff!
I really love these videos SUPER GT well to be honest I love all of your content
found watching this without the lap and position counter very cathartic. Super satisfying watching you lap consistently!
A great wireless two way radio system that i used to ride with is chatterbox. Fit it on the outside of the helmet but still breaks away during an accident. You can connect up to 8 radios on party chat and the speaker/microphone combo is one of the best you can get for the money.
It's a hard lesson. But most of us since about 1995, who have played computer racing games AND been Go-Karting track have painfully discovered that there are 2 vital ingredients missing from making us the next F1 World Champion... You learn on a Kart track that- 1. Fear and the real life consequences of speed and crashing are not the same as on a computer. 2. Other people have more speed/experience/lack of fear.
amazing vids keeep it up
SuperGT, I love these videos, they are great! Can you do a video with some basic tips and tricks for someone wanting to get into this sort of kart racing?
A better bromance than Lando and Carlos ♥️
17:18 what. a. move , honestly mate that was brilliant👊🏼👌🏼
Signed, sealed and sent. Wonderful stuff.
Great vids these I love em, don’t watch your gaming as it’s not my thing, but these are awesome. Thank you
this is my local track i go here every week when i can
So two of my fav sim racers raced in a real life race for the racing community
Thoroughly enjoyed this. A great video about what it's like to not be experienced!
Great Video Super GT awesome to watch
Clay Pigeon is 20 minutes from me! :D where are the 3 breaking zones? I've clearly not been going as committed as you xD
Who on earth could dislike this video? I would very much like to meet these people and have a chat. Anyway awesome job as usual. Cheers 👍🏻😆
yay new video
Excellent karting video as always. The camera was spot on. Thank you. Mauritius flag would be a good choice too. No bias of course. :D
Not a Jays fan but you got the like for the guy at the end repping the Toronto Blue Jays (red shirt walking by during the end grid). As a Canadian, I begrudgingly approve haha
Just another display of some fucking awesome overtakes.
Unlucky to jimmy for spinning.
Great vid! You'll need to try a KZ2 soon, just a little step up from club 100! 😂
Another great video and once again another good reference for developing though doesn't look like a whole lot has changed at this track in the last couple years.
I enjoy the commentary, its hard to say if you are one of the fastest drivers, probably close from what I've seen but I think your biggest strength is in actually knowing how to race. A lot of sim racers and hobbyist racers don't apply enough credit to what it means to actually race instead of just driving fast laps. There is a mental game to racing well; like you comments on using someone else to open holes and following them through, not putting yourself in a bad spot prior to entering the pits and just generally weighing the risk and reward in overtaking attempts. I've noticed this in your commentary in a lot of your other karting videos as well.
I did a lot of work on the Kartsim version of this track as well and I have to agree that it is a very fun track to drive, even in sim. It has a fun rhythm to it, very momentum focused but in turn makes it difficult to gain time when people are on it, but very easy to give up lots of time. In your case more like taking advantage of those people that are breaking their rhythm and making the mistakes.
Yay! My home track!
Endurance Karting is fun :) I did a 6 hour race on the weekend and have a 24 hour race this weekend, followed 2 weeks later with another 6 hour race, then a month off and back into a 1 hour & 3 hour on the same day.
15:33 "...really wide THEEEEEEEEA"
in my part of the States the kart racing is mostly indoors. that said I still need to try it. The tracks you race in Club100 look like great fun. I can't imagine an indoor course would be much fun. Oh and the karts indoors are electric as well...so there's that too.
a lot of the indoor tracks in my area are very technical tracks whereas the outdoors ones are very much like these. nvr drove an electric kart before tho
Indoor tracks are pretty rad. They're able to have some pretty extreme features you won't often find on an outdoor circuit- my local track has an elevated chicane, some massive dips and crests, inclined hairpins, and lots of strange, tight twisties to gnash your head around. Good way to learn kart control.
Electrics are super fun too, they're a real gut puncher at full send. Would recommend.
@@maitele i'm gonna try out an indoor track soon then!!
Jimmy it’s James
Awesome graphics
Not Last! Great drive mate!
This video reminded me of one of my favourite moments karting, there was someone a lot slower than me in front, I was gonna be patient and just wait until the straight to fly past, but my dad behind wasn't having any of it and lunged both me, and her, this opened up a gap between them about the size of a kart, and I managed to slip through both of them and not get spun
I have came to your channel ultimately through Jimmer. Got to say man i love your channel. You speak so clear, calm and informative and you have a top tier attitude. You plant some lovely little jokes in too, "mr wifi password" on a recent GT video had me in stitches.
You and Jimmer are a great pair, Le Mans in a few years? 🤔 who knows!
Keep up the good work my friend and i'll be here :)
Been a fan for a while, and I am glad to see more people become fans! Agree with everything you said. And also Wi-Fi password is a "recurring character" kinda ahha.
Great video
"The front of the kart is thinner than the rear of the kart"
Ah, I see you know your teamsport well!
What place did you manage to achieve? Good race altogether, cant wait for the next one with you 2
You were quicker than everybody on every lap through that first right hander👍
Keep it up SuperGt
This video gives me some courage to race this weekend even though I know I will get walloped
Coming here from the pro-series 24hr endurance race, where a single stint is how long this entire race is.
It looks like these Club100 carts are faster than Pro Series, but in turn require more maintenance from the track crews - more routine chain lubrication, more frequent fuel stops (being a two--stroke, Rotax's can be seriously damaged if run out of gas), and just more service in general.
Although I'm not sure how much of that is just policy of the track to make things more interesting and how much is genuinely required for the longevity of the carts.
Super GT: Tries to overtake a driver at every corner.
The Drivers: Are we a joke to you?
Great video again dude! Like you said in the video, getting a radio system would be great addition for the team, but would be equally as great for the content. Maybe you could experiment with a wider angle lens for your GoPro, I've seen plenty for less than 10 pounds on the Chinese websites. I guess we would be able to see better what's happening on track while seeing all your sick steering skills at the same time. Also this might be a pricy upgrade, but 360 degree camera on the side would be so cool, so you could show what's going on behind and left and right of you. Just an idea tho, the videos are already very entertaining 🙈
GRAN TURISMO GANG
Idk what made UA-cam suggest your channel, but I’m subscribed now sooo yeah.
This track is very local to me and have raced on it many of times. It’s a good track
The two senna's at the back... dont see that often
hi . thanks for uploading. i did a 44.3 1st time there . never karted before they were those karts you rent . just wondered what your times were and could you give more detail in the right lines and when to brake and what kerbs to hit etc . thanks
2019 and jimmers 4th karting event... now he's racing a praga
We want the position and lap counter back
Hey Steve, just a quick question
I have been racing at buckmore in the rt8s for a year now and recently got my first podium in the junior club. Is club 100 to bigger jump from your standard rental kart or is it not too difficult to jump into the deep end. I’m just a bit worried of embarrassing myself in front of all these experienced drivers
You could think of like this, unless you're spectacularly shit they won't even notice you.
Who cares what people think we all go racing to do the same thing
You won’t embarrass yourself In Club100, we are a broad church, and you’ll find people to race. You say you’re a junior, there is a minimum age, you need to be 14yrs old (in the season of your 15th birthday) www.club100.co.uk
I race in club100, the rt8's and these Rotax's are quite different to drive, the last round is at Buckmore Park on Dec 1st, book on a saturday/sunday test session and see how you get on!
Love Your karting videos Steve. I always feel like im on edge being there with You. So much fun
Well this is a nice birthday present for me
Your next race, can you also run a rear camera?
