People saying "nah" are proving the mentality argument correct. You can create a million reasons why X is bad and how it's external, but it doesn't matter. The context and reality of things are how they are, it's a matter of are you willing to let it cloud you. If you do, then take accountability or leave X behind, since you can't find peace with it. Both are fine. But taking responsibility in everything, even shit that seems unfair/messed up, is truly possible and will put you in the best frame of reference for everything in life. Not just apex like Raynday said.
For the list, the only problem I have is the last one, but that's mainly because when people ACTUALLY follow my calls we win with relative ease. I damn near have a 6th sense for what's going on in a battlefield. But when people don't, it puts me in a bad position. Which really just leads back to me, because i have this weird limiting thing where i severely limit my solo play whenever i actually have teammates. Same thing has been the case since cod zombies when i was a kid. By myself i can get super high rounds easily, but as soon as i get a teammate to play with, we're not making it past round 20. Got to see a therapist to see why i do that, when i know how much of a beast I am.(its not an active inferiority thing, but a subconscious reaction to having aid, wish i could turn it off)

But Apex is ever evolving, and wiping one Pred squad, or Master squad doesn’t mean you’re the best. It shows potential, but the key in Apex Legends is consistency. You need to be exposed to or experienced with as many situations as possible so you have an idea of how something will play out. And what the necessary contingency will be. Everything you do, or don’t do in a ranked match has an effect. And you always want the effect to be positive, and in your teams favor. It’s a matter of figuring out how to extract the positive from any given scenario. Lastly, I’m from the Verhulst and Genburten school of thought in that I’m a firm believer in the firing range. The firing range is the #1 way in my honest opinion to expedite your progress in Apex Legends. I view ranked as a display of one’s own personal shot mechanics. The player or squad with the more dominant, stronger and consistent shooters will always have the edge. Gameplan is important yes, but the stronger gunplay mechanics will always reign supreme in Apex. “Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth” The proverbial punch in the mouth in Apex, is getting one clipped and rolled when you seemingly had an advantage. I stopped playing Loba for some time, as soon as i got back yesterday, i carried the team into the top 2, 3 times in a row. One of the games we won, because i absolutely obliterated the last team 1 on 3 with the L-Star and P2020. The game is about Loot, Aim and survivability, and Loba is the biggest draw for that. Yes, it has been in a Gold 3 Lobby, but still.
Also about the people who got called (with tunnel vision issues) I think they play for the kill not for the win (the just wanna get quick rush of adrenaline when knock somebody) and don't really wanna win. This is the most reasonable explanation I got so far, didn't ask then though. I aslo wanna fight (sit on the ass 15 min not my kind of tea) but doing stupid fight that obviously not gonna ended up well is also their thing.
Self-awareness. Nailed it. And #3 is fhe perfect example. All too often people in this game lose all sight of the actual objective of a battle royale - to win. Zero patience. Zero situational awareness. Zero common sense. Just "oh look fighting, let's go!". Then they rush in, die and blame everyone but themselves for their idiotic decision. I like getting a kill as much as the next, but not if it costs my team. Afterall, it doesn't matter if you have a bunch of kills, if your team isn't the last one standing. I would rather have a solid 5-6 kill game and be the champion, than have a 20 bomb and lose because I was thirsting stats over the goal. The objective is to win and if you are pushing the terrible fight instead of making the smart rotation that sets you up for the endgame, you are the problem. Rushing in does nothing but put your entire team at risk. Gauge when to pounce and when to get the positional advantage. Makes smart rotations. Understand where teams are to avoid being third-partied. Communicate. Be patient. This is game awareness. No one cares about your final stat line if you cost your team the game. Be self-aware that you were the issue. Besides, if kills is all you care about, Mixtape is where you should be. The rest of us want to see CHAMPIONS written across our screens at the end.

And look. I get it, 49% of the time, I will be playing people better than me. That's acceptable; those are comprehensible numbers. But that's not what I'm seeing. When you only feel 'good' about your relative skill level in 1 out of 10 games, SBMM is broken. And it's been broken for a while, why else would they be constantly trying to fix it?
Totally agree! Every aspect is very accurate! I find myself in situations where I look back and I see what I could have done wrong, I am an Octane main so I do a lot of bad plays, but now I am playing Bloodhound again as it was my first main, where I learned to play on and I am relearning some of the mistakes I would do as Octane as I play more passive with Bloodhound, being able to switch legends is a crucial learning step I would say.
Any advice for someone trying to transition from ps5 to PC? I keep getting killed so fast and it's sad because I've been winning in ranked on ps5. Great video!

Made it to masters with mirage and caustic…so to each their own on legends, having a good combination with legends us better and I feel mirage is diverse in a lot of combinations with different legends
I play apex on ps5 and have been playing on ps after switching off apex about 5-6 years ago. Ive played the game back when it launched but have been on and off almost every other season until season 19 when i started hardcore playing. Been getting kinda frustrated with trying to improve lately so while i was visiting my mom who has an xbox series s i got apex on there and decided to play. Doing the orientation matches i realized just how easy it was, and even with the delayed input and being pretty far from the tv it actualy wasnt hard at all to beam people although about half the people i ran into were standing still. It was actually hella boring even though i dropped a 2.4k that didnt count bc orientation matches dont count stats, like without the challenge it was just dull. Made me actually appreciate the higher skill lobbys i get put in. Like i actually started to miss the 4k 20 bomb sweats i ran into on the daily
I mained mirage in s14. Had 888 kills. S15 2k+ kills. S16-19 under 400 kills. I switched to Octane and had 700kills S20. I can now play 6 different characters. It makes the game fun learning how to use other characters. So yes you're right.
Still watching the video, but the mirage point could be used for weapons as well. For example, I used to blame the weapons I get when i'm contesting a team. Which shouldn't be an excuse. As a player any weapon is better than no weapon. I'm sure a lot of players react the same way when they only find a p20 in a contest and get killed by a player with a better weapon.
The problem is my teammates get pushed or they push do either 0 damage or less than 100 and drop instantly then i have 0 chance for a 3 on 1 and im running for dear life trying to revive them only for it to happen immediately again. I legit NEVER get a teammate as a random

Nah, apex just sucks. I got a 4k on Conduit, and it never gave me the badge. The TTK is godawful, and every gun feels like a pee-shooter. And yes, I can admit I am the problem sometimes, but that doesn't mean the game doesn't have any flaws.
Yes, bustin your ass off 1v3 a fight, craft you banner team mates, and crafting them for the 2nd time and get eliminated on 7-8th place below to get negative RP. GG's, the community ask, and they shall received.
TRYING to grind ranked but I hit a cheater with aimbot/walls every other ranked game. I'm almost out gold but the amount of players I have seen blatantly cheating in this game..
It's hard to see yourself as a problem when you do your really best and your teammates don't even do like a 20% of it. Also I know my bad sides (for example aim issues) but when you got into lobby with octane spammer its just impossible to not constantly fighting and if I start to argue over not taking fight people just taking it personally and go for it anyway. I came up with an idea if you not able to 1v3 every fight you not gonna win and even if you do so you gonna get thirded. I don't know what about solo q-ing in NA or Asia but the lobbies in EU are making me insane. The players decisions, their rotations, communication, lack of usage of ping button (plat lobbies) this is making insane for real. Sometimes you wanna play some ranked to shoot your gun but you cannot do even that because you start every fight 2v3 and enemy hyperfocused on me. Also I usually trying to call (because people don't wanna take any resnposibily in this game not even a dropship one) so I can see when I was tunnel visioned or didn't see the opportunity but also sometimes people just don't listen. I see the game winning rotation or fight and they just ignore it. So the only thing in this case being confused and tryna to do best of situation you got involved because people being afraid, stupid, tunnel visioned etc. I legitimately think unless you are a really skilled player who obviosly don't need a team at that point you can't get higher even if you playing better than an average person in the lobby. Prestacked masters/pred teams, really questionable solo q teammates, high entry penalty and cheaters on top of it. All of this factors just really annoying I don't think I'm gonna be able to go further than plat unless I have a premades but also feeling like Masters should be doable if I do so. Thats crazy. If more content creators meet honest videos like this Apex would be the number one game for the next 10 years there are so many strategies people don't use I don't care if you're a newbie if you use the right characters you can destroy entire teams I don't care how good they are also I have this problem I'm great at leading I always know where everyone is I always carry extra shield batteries for my team I spot everyone and I always know when the third party is coming people will follow me the entire game I will strategically third party everything my zone rotations are so crazy people don't even believe in them then at the end of the game the very last fight 3 to 4 left I tell my teammates hang out right here they both split up and charge different teams at the same time die and say everything you just said I'm to blame because I have less damage and less kills yet I'll have $2,000 damage maybe 1,000 maybe one or two kills that's because everyone you killed I shot them up first and then you finish them off if I play Greedy and just go for kills no one leads we get third partied I have more kills but we never make it to the second ring😂😂😂 I'm one of those guys that if I have two killers we will definitely win but when I get those two good people in their mind I have to follow them when I go down they just leave me there because they're both fighting three teams the third party sneaks up on me rips me to one shot they're nowhere next to me because they're leaving me I run for my life to heal get away cuz Mirage is the greatest escape artist ever about time I heal myself they're dead screaming at the mic that I'm a loser and it's my fault they're dying we're talking rank then I will travel all the way to get the banners out of the machine soon as I get there they quit as I touch the machine someone's waiting there😂😂😂 30 seconds before I decided to run to the machine I said just leave them dead and finish in second place or third then my team made heart overtakes me and I say let's go get him out and die for people that quit the game and called me a loser😂😂😂 I can play this game and go to the end every single game if I really want to I won't get high kills because I don't have expert shooting all you need is three to five kills a solid 2000 damaged or 1,500 make it to 3rd or 2nd Place lose the game 10 times but when maybe three and my rank goes up I can do that by myself I've won with little kids I have literally destroyed will the two kids did I just did the damage just because they follow me the whole point of Apex Legends is to stay alive there's never been a game like this it is impossible to always charge and not die there is not one of your favorite content creators that don't tell you to back up and heal or avoid certain fights yet everyone thinks they're Imperial how or fade or many of the others that are skilled men or children have been playing since the game came out you will never catch up to their skill and even if you do go watch them just like everybody else they lose games I understand it's cool to pretend buy some of you people are becoming very enraged the commons and the slurs😂😂😂 are not cool some of you grown men need to remember their children and small girls playing this game you're cursing out little kids😂😂😂 if you made it this far just thought of this combination New Castle Rampart Gibraltar the Great Wall of China❤❤❤ or the Electrical wall Newcastle Rampart and Watson

I thought the problem was soft aimbot wallhackers and the way they get unbanned or go unnoticed by Devs. Not joking.
Turns out I was the problem all along. Stupid me not installing aimbot cheats for apex. Welp, problem solved. Now im in pred!

A lot of people hard stuck plat because of the mindset of most of the players. They push everything. Even in ring which makes no sense. Why kill 3 people just to die to ring ???? So brain dead. Happy to get out of plat diamond is much better. A lot more people play with a brain

If more content creators meet honest videos like this Apex would be the number one game for the next 10 years there are so many strategies people don't use I don't care if you're a newbie if you use the right characters you can destroy entire teams I don't care how good they are also I have this problem I'm great at leading I always know where everyone is I always carry extra shield batteries for my team I spot everyone and I always know when the third party is coming people will follow me the entire game I will strategically third party everything my zone rotations are so crazy people don't even believe in them then at the end of the game the very last fight 3 to 4 left I tell my teammates hang out right here they both split up and charge different teams at the same time die and say everything you just said I'm to blame because I have less damage and less kills yet I'll have $2,000 damage maybe 1,000 maybe one or two kills that's because everyone you killed I shot them up first and then you finish them off if I play Greedy and just go for kills no one leads we get third partied I have more kills but we never make it to the second ring😂😂😂 I'm one of those guys that if I have two killers we will definitely win but when I get those two good people in their mind I have to follow them when I go down they just leave me there because they're both fighting three teams the third party sneaks up on me rips me to one shot they're nowhere next to me because they're leaving me I run for my life to heal get away cuz Mirage is the greatest escape artist ever about time I heal myself they're dead screaming at the mic that I'm a loser and it's my fault they're dying we're talking rank then I will travel all the way to get the banners out of the machine soon as I get there they quit as I touch the machine someone's waiting there😂😂😂 30 seconds before I decided to run to the machine I said just leave them dead and finish in second place or third then my team made heart overtakes me and I say let's go get him out and die for people that quit the game and called me a loser😂😂😂 I can play this game and go to the end every single game if I really want to I won't get high kills because I don't have expert shooting all you need is three to five kills a solid 2000 damaged or 1,500 make it to 3rd or 2nd Place lose the game 10 times but when maybe three and my rank goes up I can do that by myself I've won with little kids I have literally destroyed will the two kids did I just did the damage just because they follow me the whole point of Apex Legends is to stay alive there's never been a game like this it is impossible to always charge and not die there is not one of your favorite content creators that don't tell you to back up and heal or avoid certain fights yet everyone thinks they're Imperial how or fade or many of the others that are skilled men or children have been playing since the game came out you will never catch up to their skill and even if you do go watch them just like everybody else they lose games I understand it's cool to pretend buy some of you people are becoming very enraged the commons and the slurs😂😂😂 are not cool some of you grown men need to remember their children and small girls playing this game you're cursing out little kids😂😂😂 if you made it this far just thought of this combination New Castle Rampart Gibraltar the Great Wall of China❤❤❤ or the Electrical wall Newcastle Rampart and Watson
