If you don't think it's you, think about how many of Allah's rights you have given to these things. How much of your fear, happiness, anxiety, anger, time, money and love have you invested in these things as opposed to your Creator? Where are your thoughts in salah?

Subhan'Allah, here in Australia, there used to be Muslim Afghans called 'The Cameleers' who came here with the first fleet and helped develop Australia. They built a Masjid in the middle of the desert where they live and they were practicing Muslims. However, the sad thing is their offspring now have no idea of what Islam is and don't know what "La illaha ilallah" means. They were interview and Subhan'Allah they actually said, "We remember our grandmother bowing and prostrating and uttering word we never understood, but we don't what it means and why she was doing it." This reminded me of the Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). May Allah (SWT) keep us firm and Steadfast on this deen and allow us to raise a pious offspring.
There's an actual hadith like this which says people will forget tawheed and they will say that we remember our ancestors used to say la ilaha illallah and we don't know the meaning, but I we say it because our ancestors used to say
The thing is when Najdi Salafis like dawah man talk about Tawhweed is not because he thinks it’s important. He talks about it because his donor Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahab used the same technique to declare everyone of this Ummah Kafir. MIWA propagated chain takfeer and This Imran is the illegitimate brain child of that notion
Tawheed is islaam. Any dawah void of tawheed is fruitless. Tawheed was the call of the messengers and what makes Islaam so special, SubhanAllaah. Tawheed is a light and only results in goodness.
