At least now we know why the resistance was taken out so easily while trying to protect Sonic
This stage could have been the Eggmanland of forces
Your missing the point Eggmanland requires effort to do it
KarpTheMagikarp Nope, Eggmanland doesn't simple requires effort, it requires going to hell and trying to survive! At least I have some instant kills to increase difficulty, but it will never be that extremely hard like Eggmanland!
You'd think that when Eggman Took over the world that he'd actually make a formidable fortress. Sonic 4 had harder final levels

This what I call Remastered, the placement of the platforms are really great, It doesn't make Sonic stop to platform through it, the obstacles aren't overused looking like a Hard Mode stage, the stage makes the utility of the abilities like the slide and definitely the quick step in the end which I was really satisfying to watch
whoever made this mod, I give a Rank S to this job
While the stage design is much more expressive, it shouldn’t have too much obstacles or platforming, considering in the context of Mortar Canyon Sonic should be getting to Infinite as fast as possible

That makes sense, but increasing the slow paced platforming doesn't make sense, it's supposed to be Sonic running to the finish at (nowhere near maximum but still) high speed.

there's two worlds - one with humans (adventure games, sth, 06, Unleashed) and there's one of animals ( s1-3, colours, forces, etc)

Thanks to Tailstube, the two worlds theory has been obliterated, my best guess is that G.U.N. got defeated by Eggman.

Now this is how a stage in sonic forces should of been done.
One thing that I feel would have made forces better. Would have been the reintroduction of GUN. Instead of a fleet of resistance fighters we don't really care about. The air fleet here fighting eggman's fleet could have been the GUN fleet.

In the video games, Sonic's world is the same as the human world. :P It was never stated or even implied that Sonic "left his world and entered the human world" in Adventure 1 to Sonic Unleashed.
Takashi Iisuka in one of his interviews said that there are 2 worlds! One with human, and one is Sonic's!
ugh, then they do a piss poor job of showing that in the games. It has NEVER been ONCE even alluded to.
EDIT: Just found that interview, and I don't know how seriously it should be taken. More than half of the questions were joke questions. But if we took that comment seriously, then it sounds less like Sonic hops between worlds, and more like each game is in its own semi continuity with some games being in the same continuity as others. So for instance Sonic and company in Forces may not be the same "universe" as Sonic Adventure.
Not unlike the James Bond Eras I imagine.
You don't have any idea of what you are talking about. The Gun doesn't exist in Sonic world and y hope they doesn't appear never more. I hate humans in Sonic games, I like more the archie background
