Imagining an adult offer me gum only to pull out Hubba Bubba bubble jug made me actually laugh out loud.
I'm not gonna lie, usually if I'm offering someone gum it's grape hubba bubba bubble tape. It's just so good I love it, easily can slam a roll in a day even though I'm a grown man. But my friends definitely burst out laughing confused that the product still exists when I'm drunk at the club pulling out a long strip of that shit and going ham, asking if they want some.
I would go for the jug but that seems too messy to whip out on the dance floor at 2am ya know?

Fruitopia is massive in Canada. Maybe less so in recent years but it’s still available as a fountain drink option in a lot of fast food places
They have so many bussin flavours too. Strawberry kiwi and what’s that bluish container one? Cranberries and blueberries or something? When it goes on “sale” I stock up.

me and my sister would gets everytime and one day i went to the store to go buy one and there were none on the shelves and everyday i would go look for one and never found them even at a different store and i’m so sad because i loved them and idk what happened to them.

As a 90s kid, this brought back so many memories of getting extremely hyped about a new product, seeing it at the store and finally convincing your parents to get it, just for it to be barely mediocre
In Canada we still actually have Fruitopia in our fast food fountain drink machines. Many of us would mix Fruitopia in with the other drinks growing up.
I loved the Wonderballs as a kid. The inside were hard candies no toys, they were slightly sour but so good!

Ahh, I loved the wonder balls! I didn't get to have them often, but I so clearly remember the Pocahontas movie themed ones! They had little like leaves and raccoons for the candy shapes 😂

Actually "m&m's crispy" are a thing in Germany since forever. The sad part is, in Germany only four versions exist: Peanut, Chocolate, Cripsy and Salted Caramel... so maybe this answers the question

Dunkaroos old school chemicals apparently rocked tastewise. I know how that sounds. Fruitopia is literally the only drink I get at McDonald’s I don’t drink pop at all. Fruitopia strawberry is my second favourite drink. If you want to try Canadian snacks, let me know and I can send you guys a bunch!!!
Im sorry but I had no idea that Canadians said pop. I googled it and everything. I lived in Illinois for most of my life and we always say pop but now that I live in Texas no one says that and I thought it was just a Midwest thing. 😭

I remember the Koolaid Bursts. Whenever I would go to my best friend’s house as a kid, her mom would have these drinks for us. My favorite one was the blue one.
Fun fact 3D Doritos are still sold in Mexico stores. My husbands family is from there and he loves them. so whenever they go visit they buy them in bulk! Hahaha
the colored ketchup was literally SO GROSS... me and my brother literally begged my mom to buy it and she said she would but we had to finish it all. it was instant regret after having to put it on my french fries... it was a nightmare
Fruitopia Is probably the biggest "juice" drink in Canada. We have at least four flavours to buy from at the grocery store and also an option at most drive-thru's where you can get the red (the one you had in the video) or orange flavour.

7:45 Here’s a little history lesson on the Wonderball (because I had just recently looked all this stuff up when I saw Wonderballs at a store the other day for the first time in years): From what I found out, in the mid-90s, when Nestlé first released the Wonderball, they did have actual plastic toys in them like the Kinder Eggs they sell in Europe (although at this point they were called “Magic Balls”, instead of “Wonderballs”). As expected, there was worry that children would choke, so in 2000, they changed it from plastic toys to smaller candies shaped like different characters and changed the name to Wonderball. Then*, for whatever reason, Nestlé sold the Wonderball brand in 2004 to a company called Frankford, who kept producing them until 2007, when they discontinued the product only to bring it back again finally in 2016 (I can’t seem to find any info regarding why they were discontinued in 2007, what made the company decide to bring them back, or why Nestlé sold the brand to Frankford in the first place).

I remember always getting the fruitopia drink at McDonald’s when I was little (in the US) and then it disappeared. When I went to Canada last year I saw they had it and it was just as good as I remembered.

Kinder Eggs still thrive here in Canada, and I’ve seen fruitopia here and there at the grocery store but I’ve only had it once as a kid

I missed out on allot of the sugary snacks and drinks that existed back in the 90's and dissapeared when the 90's ended as growing up i was one of those kids that whos father never let me near sugar.
He was one of those "sugar and kids is a no no" kind of dads.
So by the time i started working and could afford allot of what existed back then most of it was gone/discontinued before i could really enjoy it.
For that reason i hope they bring back allot of things like this so i could finally enjoy what i had no choice but to miss out on when i was young.

You should recreate discontinued fast food items from the 90s and 00s. The McDLT and Burger King's Shake Em Up Fries are relatively easy to recreate.

For the dunkaroos if the ones you have are the newer version than they're not the same as the one from the 90s. They changed it I can't remember what they changed about it off the top of my head. But I do remember a lot of people saying about it...

Oh my god, Kool Aid Bursts are just what you said. They're awful but delicious. They just taste like the bottle they come in, but with flavored sugar. Iconic.
I seem to remember the 3D Doritos back in the day being way bigger, but they totally did taste different. I remember them being just cumbersome to eat and not even all that worth it.
Jell-O pudding pops were mid as hell when they made them in stores, but I bet just freezing straight up Jell-O pudding is great.
Vanilla Dunkaroos were my favorite. Then I grew up and had the mind-blowing revelation that I could just get a jar of frosting and a box of teddy grahams and basically DIY all you can eat Dunkaroos. Ten year old me was SHOOK. That said, I did buy a case of Dunkaroos from Sam's Club because I'm an adult.
The bubble jug was so good too. I remember just like, eating as much as my dumb little kid mouth could hold. Moderation with a JUG of something? We don't know her.
The Hubb Bubba Jugs were my favorite! Maybe they only had it in California or the WestCoast, I was like 4 in 2000 when I remember getting them all the time from this Snack Shack that always had them & It was definitely finer and powderier than the knock off 😁😁
I'm Canadian and I love fruitopia! They have the fruit punch one both at McDonald's and at store. However in McDonald's they also have the orange flavour but at the store, they have berry flavour and I think strawberry and kiwi, unless they've discontinued it. In the summer they pass produce and market fruitopia, but sell it all year long. They have it in the size that you had, 1l juice carton, and tall boys (tall cans)

I love the concept of colorful condiments (life should be fun) but I distinctly remember going over to a friend’s house who had the purple ketchup and putting it all over my hotdog, only to be massively disappointed with how it tasted. Like if you blindfolded me and had me taste it I would either be not sure what it was or say “really really weird tasting ketchup”

Here in Mexico you can still get 3D doritos, they are good but its better to fill them with some salsa such as Valentina its spicy or how they preparse some of them Dorilocos.
