What if della survived because the cosmic storm Scrooge mentioned, somehow sent her traveling into time 15 years in the future causing her to crash into the moon. This would explain the fact that Scrooge couldn't find her when he sent ppl(ducks) to search for her. This would also explain how she survived not starving and just now being able to creat a TV with live broadcast. But who knows, this is just a little theory 🤷
I think there was a comic on that theory. I don't remember the name but it has where Della left her triplet in care with Donald so she can go to outer space. By the time she contacted them it was ten years. However, something happened in space that made her jump through time. To her it was a few minutes while to them it was ten years. That might be what happened here.
Here's a fun reference. The name of the episode is called "The Shadow War". There's an episode of the original series called "Magica's Shadow War" in which Magica gives her shadow life but her shadow ends up betraying her. Sort of a foreshadowing to Lena's true identity as Magica's shadow.
Dr. Madd the show runners did say that they loved the original so much that the comics were required reading for everyone on the show before they even got to work on it.
What? You think once she fixed it, she did nothing but watch that TV on the Moon? She obviously simply missed those news stories. Heck, Duckburg probably has to be *facing* the Moon for her to get a signal, so that's two-thirds, three-quarters of the month she can't see Duckburg News right there. So she has to be watching TV at the time both when she can receive Duckburg *and* when the Scrooge & Co. are being shown. Basically what I'm saying is she was lucky to see *this* news report, seeing the earlier ones *too* is stretching credulity.
I think Magica might be a Toffee-like character. Starts by scheming from the shadows early on (in her case literally), has her first confrontation at the end of season 1 and is defeated, then comes back in the next season stronger than ever, posing the greatest threat that the heroes have faced. At least I hope that she comes back stronger next season.
The moon is not made of cheese! It is made of rock and was probably once part of the Earth, but an asteroid hit the earth a little and the rock got caught up in Earth's gravitational pull! Science! The moon is not made of cheese!
That's a LOT of assumption based on 20 seconds of Della. We don't know how long she's been on the moon, and even if she has been there this whole time, fewer than three and a half years have passed for her due to relativity. If she only just crash landed on the moon, odds are VERY good she's only been away just barely longer than it took for her hair to grow out.
Some sort of time warping would also explain, how Scrooge never figured to search the Moon for Della. I mean as Adamant as he was for finding her, you would think he DEFINITELY would have searched the Moon. Buuut if there was some time relativity, she may not have YET crashed there, when Scrooge searched the Moon.
But only 2 seasons got confirmed. If they waited with Magica and Della until the end of season 2 and didn't get a season 3.... Well... We'd be kind of screwed...

Loved that MLP reference xD And really for the moment about Della's survival just accept cartoon logic until an answer is given
The Waddle/Beaks story arc is a parody of multiple companies and tech entrepreneurs from Silicon Valley. Waddle is a satirical mashup of Google and Apple. While Mark Beaks is undoubtedly based on Mark Zuckerberg, but less awkward and more power hungry.
Allegedly they wanted to name him "Mark Zuckerbird", but foresaw the onslaught of lawsuits over that and went with something less obvious (and less clever, TBH).
So how did Scrooge get his clothing and cane back from inside the dime? Simple... Scrooge was being restored to his 'full power', much like Magica was.
How did Della survive? Well, the same way Arnold's parents survived being asleep for 9 years in Hey Arnold! The Jungle Movie without dying, suffering the effects of atrophy, or being human skeletons from lack of food.....Cartoon logic.
Magica is one of the main villains of the comics as well as Ducktales. I dont know how many season they will be making, but I think they just wanted to give her a spot in season 2 as well. Also I expect more backstory on her, because its said twice in the finale that she has a certain hate for the McDuck clan, which obviously has a reason. If we get the reason for that and its a good one, her motivations for this finale would also make more sense. Also she lost her powers in the end, so there is potential for a comeback of an even stronger Magica... Btw this is still theDonald Duck universe, things dont make sense int there. Della still being alive after many years on the moon makes sense in this universe. Ducktales already has more backstory and a more logic story then the regular comics xD
Also I think we have to wait the future of Magica out if we really want to judge her in this episode. In my opinion you also cant really say that it would be 'better' to reveal her in the future, because you dont know what she'll becomne right now. Maybe they have some big plans for her or another villain, so it doesnt matter that her reveal is this early. I must say tho: the reveal of Bill Cipher was very epic because they really builded up to the moment. Again though: we dont know what she will become and which future villains we will get and she is one of the Ducktales main villains, so I understand why they want to show her early, instead of at the near end of the series so we dont see that much of her.
Here's a bigger question If scrige mcduck ' sended over 7 rockets into space how come none of them thought it was a good idea to got to the moon? That would've been the first place I'd check :\
More likely how did she survive from dehydration? There is no source of water there. And it doesn't seem like there's a dood supply Scrooge gave Della. But she might be like a ShiroGONE. *im sorry i couldn't help it*
Actually the handsome voice that’s rarely been heard from Donald was been referenced for a long time since Disney created the episode “Donald’s Dream Voice”
I found a mistake in the episode that you can see on the picture at 3:40 , you see that Huey, Dewey, Louie and Webby have shadows beneath them! But in that part of the episode they already lost their shadows!
I know they are two separate continuities, but I REALLY want to see a villain team up between Magica De Spell from 2018 DuckTales, and Felldrake from 2018 Three Caballeros.
Aww you left out the moon theme. The famous Moon theme from the classic NES and Remaster video game plays when the camera cuts to the moon just before Della's reveal.
People usually don't kill off characters in kids' shows because it may be sad or gruesome, but I don't think kids would've minded if Beaks just fell off a cliff and died.
Glad to see I'm not the only one who has issues with the finale. 1) Magica was a disappointing villain. 2) The stakes were too low. The fight with Magica had too much comedy. 3) Della was revealed too quickly. 4) While you may not see this as a flaw, I believe that the decision to write Lena as Magica's shadow instead of a real girl who actually was Magica's niece was a cop-out move by the writers.
It's not that difficult to believe that she didn't watch the news on exactly three specific times during the span of six months. It's kind of a lucky coincidence. And i'm pretty sure they won't leave how Della survived unanswered.
Tnbt, can I get your opinion on this? Marshmallow’s music video: ‘Fly’ takes place in space. Do you think since the last clip at the end of the finale with Della being in space could mean that Marshmallow’s music video foreshadows what season 2’s plot is gonna be about? It also aired on Disney Channel after the finale aired. I just don’t think it’s a coincidence. It matches up to well. Can you tell me what you think?
I think it's gonna be revealed that Della was not just crashed but tossed through a time vortex during the storm she was in. That would explain why she is only now receiving transmissions and why she has survived so long with no food. She has only been on the moon a short while. Maybe a few months at most. Would also explain why Scrooge couldn't find her with his FLEET of ships. Lost in time.
So, we have here a Series about talking antropomorphic ducks and just a few Episodes back we had Scrooge and Goldie being stuck in Ice for a long time where they didnt need Food, Water or Air for that matter and survived. Funny how people question the realism of such a show. A better final question would have been, that Scrooge send out X spaceships to go look for her and nobody thought to look on the moon?
Two ideas popped into my head were that she survived like scrooge has survived for well over a century....MAGIC. The second is she was sent through a wormhole that propelled her forward to short of a year or a few months before the season one finale. She crashed, had rations because its space and I think delia would have been smart enough to plan for a trip since she was going to go into space to explore. The would explain why none of the space ships scrooge sent off ever found her because she had been sent to forward into the future.
i hear what you are saying about how some things should of been left till later seasons but it up to what they do next they might have bigger plans and all these big things are just little things that are going some where big we will have to wait and see
That's the kind of mindset that produces shows and movies that are only good for kids. The people behind Avatar: The Last Airbender, WITCH, Beast Wars, Transformers Animated and TRON never thought like that, and look how great those shows are.
when I first saw magica with her true form I didnt like it at first but it grew on me and also made me question like she's in a humanoid like body but still have tail feathers which makes me wonder how she looks like if she was dressed in the modern normal outfit we see the duck's wear in thw show
something else about Della: the final scene where she puts her hand on the TV is a direct parallel to the final scene in the series premiere where Dewey does *the same thing*.
I was trying to mach Duck Tales characters with Gravity Falls ones. You helped me see Mark Beaks as the equivalent of Gideon Maybe Della time traveled? I mean why would Scroodge send all those rockets to look for her and NOT check the moon 1st? . basicly I have the DT vs GF thing this way Scrooge = Stan the 3 boys = Dipper Weby = Mabel Launchpad = Soos Beakly = Wendy Mark Beaks = Gideon Magica = Bill Della = Ford
I think Lena is supposed to be Wendy and Doofus Drake is supposed to be Gideon. Besides can we start to compare Ducktales with another show already? Like MLP? Because I think those two shows also have similarities in my opinion. I mean really, Scrooge is kind of a lot like Starlight and Della seems to be like Sunburst. Also, I think the rest of the main DT characters seem to be a lot like the Main 6. Plus, has anyone ever notice that both shows have a least 7-8 main characters. Just think about it.
Well Della could have the food pellets used in the comics, I seem to remember they could turn into food by adding one drop of water. Or the cosmic storm could have sent her forward in time, or captured her in a pocket dimension as they already have talk about on the show.
TheNextBigThing: How did she survive without dying of starvation?*silence*.... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Good ending to a video loved it and your very logical thinking all makes sense
I agree on the revealing bit, BUT I think it also made sense to do it; They were already signed for season 2; so Della's reveal wasn't so much a cliffhanger as it was a taste of things to come. Suddenly; Della wasn't gone. She was alive. And after the big wrapup of Lena/Magicka's story, it made sense they'd tease the next big storyline. Now it wasn't a question anymore of "what happened to Della", now it was a question of "is she coming back??" Honestly it was a brilliant marketing strategy, because Della Duck's reveal would definitely get people talking.
So I've been thinking about it and I have a theory about Della that could explain everything about her being stranded on the moon AND set things up for a truly crazy showdown in season 2... What if the moon goddess Selene has actually been keeping Della captive on the moon the whole time? If this theory turns out to be a spoiler then I apologize for it but really it actually makes sense of how Della could be stranded on the moon the whole time and yet no one found her. If a freaking goddess doesn't want you to find someone you're not gonna find them. (Also, if this is true then she would be setting up Dewey and his brothers to join Della in the trap because Della keeps saying that she misses her family and wants to see her boys.)
As to how Della survived on the Moon for ten years. 1. As a new and experimental spacecraft, The Spear of Selene would almost certainly be equipped with enough rations for the entire family to last a year. Donald, Della, Scrooge, and the triplets once they were ready for adventure comes out to six years worth of food for a single individual. Rationed sparingly, they could could have easily lasted longer. 2. Even if the rations themselves may not have been able to have last the ten years, Della could have gone the way of 'The Martian' and begun growing rudimentary crops (mmm, potatoes...) she clearly has a sustainable oxygen supply, and outside of metering out the ships oxygen storage tanks plants would be the best way to compensate for it. 3. Magic. Or perhaps there's a colony of moon based Terrafirmians (Lunafirmians?) that have been helping her.
space definitely has a different time zone then Earth so probably for her it would have been for a couple weeks and for Scrooge McDuck and the boys a couple years
I have a theory on how she survied on the moon for like a decade. She asked the animators politely for a giant supply for nice cold pep and some chips and didnt bother to ask if she can get other things, just some pep and chips.
Huh we’re did she go to the bathroom in the dime
Wow...good point.

If scrige mcduck ' sended over 7 rockets into space how come none of them thought it was a good idea to got to the moon? That would've been the first place I'd check :\
*scrooge
Yeah.....
that is a better question than saying "How is Della still alive?"
More likely how did she survive from dehydration? There is no source of water there. And it doesn't seem like there's a dood supply Scrooge gave Della. But she might be like a ShiroGONE.
*im sorry i couldn't help it*
Well, hopefully Season 2 doesn't just answer the question with "MAGIC".
Magic's being used as a storytelling device far too much.
What do you mean how did she not die of starvation? Didn't you know the moon is made of cheese?
You should be asking how is she surviving without air.
You can like three days without water. You can like three weeks without food. You can live 45 seconds or less without oxygen. DUH PEOPLE!
Cartoon logic
Literally I had the same question. What is the likelihood of them packing 10 years of food into that ship?
I think Della can survive in space for over a decade because time move differently in space and earth
Actually the handsome voice that’s rarely been heard from Donald was been referenced for a long time since Disney created the episode “Donald’s Dream Voice”
In your season 2 finale the beast isn't a krill it's the dewnificent krilldebeest.
Della probably just travelled with incredible speed and while more than a decade has gone by she probably was just in space for a short period.
I am the storm
I found a mistake in the episode that you can see on the picture at 3:40 , you see that Huey, Dewey, Louie and Webby have shadows beneath them! But in that part of the episode they already lost their shadows!
I know they are two separate continuities, but I REALLY want to see a villain team up between Magica De Spell from 2018 DuckTales, and Felldrake from 2018 Three Caballeros.
Aww you left out the moon theme. The famous Moon theme from the classic NES and Remaster video game plays when the camera cuts to the moon just before Della's reveal.
7:52 Where's Magica's mother?
bigger question regarding della, HOW DID SHE SURVIVE ON THE MOON WITH NO AIR?
Well obviously Della ate parts of the moon it's clearly cheese
People usually don't kill off characters in kids' shows because it may be sad or gruesome, but I don't think kids would've minded if Beaks just fell off a cliff and died.
Glad to see I'm not the only one who has issues with the finale.
1) Magica was a disappointing villain.
2) The stakes were too low. The fight with Magica had too much comedy.
3) Della was revealed too quickly.
4) While you may not see this as a flaw, I believe that the decision to write Lena as Magica's shadow instead of a real girl who actually was Magica's niece was a cop-out move by the writers.
I think they reveal that in just 1 year because MAYBE they'll do just 1 more season
It's just my "theory", but it can be possible
5:17 :
Don returning for the quack pack episode:I’m gonna end this whole man’s career
I think it's gonna be revealed that Della was not just crashed but tossed through a time vortex during the storm she was in. That would explain why she is only now receiving transmissions and why she has survived so long with no food. She has only been on the moon a short while. Maybe a few months at most. Would also explain why Scrooge couldn't find her with his FLEET of ships. Lost in time.
How did della live 10 to 3 years(the moon is farther than you guys think) without food oxygen, water oR bathroom...
MAGIC!
no logic in cartoons
So, we have here a Series about talking antropomorphic ducks and just a few Episodes back we had Scrooge and Goldie being stuck in Ice for a long time where they didnt need Food, Water or Air for that matter and survived. Funny how people question the realism of such a show. A better final question would have been, that Scrooge send out X spaceships to go look for her and nobody thought to look on the moon?
Also not only starvation but how about oxygen?
Maybe, Gyro gave her some Oxy Chew.
3:22
Gasoline she had that gum, whatever it was called. It kept her alive
The would explain why none of the space ships scrooge sent off ever found her because she had been sent to forward into the future.
i hear what you are saying about how some things should of been left till later seasons but it up to what they do next they might have bigger plans and all these big things are just little things that are going some where big we will have to wait and see
It's a fun fictional cartoon. Just let it be fun and don't think about it too much. It's much more enjoyable that way
That's the kind of mindset that produces shows and movies that are only good for kids.
The people behind Avatar: The Last Airbender, WITCH, Beast Wars, Transformers Animated and TRON never thought like that, and look how great those shows are.
@@lowgunfire2671 its just that some of the things he's worrying about is kinda strange.
@ Kayle Mathew Comendador
Such as...?
(You might have a point, hence me giving you an upvote, but let's discuss this some more.)
@@lowgunfire2671 he's worrying about stuff that look like they will be solved in the next season.
@@lowgunfire2671 along with that he kinda made too many strange conclusion jumps with Della's whereabouts.
when I first saw magica with her true form I didnt like it at first but it grew on me and also made me question like she's in a humanoid like body but still have tail feathers which makes me wonder how she looks like if she was dressed in the modern normal outfit we see the duck's wear in thw show
TBNT: How did she not die of starvation
Della: laughs in oxy-chew
something else about Della: the final scene where she puts her hand on the TV is a direct parallel to the final scene in the series premiere where Dewey does *the same thing*.
Yay! Watched the review. Now the analysis!
I was trying to mach Duck Tales characters with Gravity Falls ones. You helped me see Mark Beaks as the equivalent of Gideon
Maybe Della time traveled? I mean why would Scroodge send all those rockets to look for her and NOT check the moon 1st? .
basicly I have the DT vs GF thing this way
Scrooge = Stan
the 3 boys = Dipper
Weby = Mabel
Launchpad = Soos
Beakly = Wendy
Mark Beaks = Gideon
Magica = Bill
Della = Ford
sasamichan
That’s actually fitting. It fits so well.
😀
Or the cosmic storm could have sent her forward in time, or captured her in a pocket dimension as they already have talk about on the show.
it's Disney Magic that's all you have to know.
I kinda wanna see Count Duckula be included now. I would rate it as unlikely, but plausible -- he shares the same pigment as Magika DeSpell.
It could be that Leena was how Magica looked like when she was trapped and Magica aged during her inprisonment
TheNextBigThing: How did she survive without dying of starvation?*silence*....
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Good ending to a video loved it and your very logical thinking all makes sense
Kinda disappointed you didn't talk about that little moment when the screen pans to the moon and the moon theme is played!
9:54 she ate gum
I agree on the revealing bit, BUT I think it also made sense to do it;
They were already signed for season 2; so Della's reveal wasn't so much a cliffhanger as it was a taste of things to come. Suddenly; Della wasn't gone. She was alive. And after the big wrapup of Lena/Magicka's story, it made sense they'd tease the next big storyline. Now it wasn't a question anymore of "what happened to Della", now it was a question of "is she coming back??"
Honestly it was a brilliant marketing strategy, because Della Duck's reveal would definitely get people talking.
Starvation? I feel like I got woooshed.
space definitely has a different time zone then Earth so probably for her it would have been for a couple weeks and for Scrooge McDuck and the boys a couple years
Answer: She found the Green Cheese of Longevity.
I think della duck traveled forward in time with the cosmic storm
I have a theory on how she survied on the moon for like a decade. She asked the animators politely for a giant supply for nice cold pep and some chips and didnt bother to ask if she can get other things, just some pep and chips.
0:00 the whole beginning is my favorite part of the video
“How did she survive without dying of starvation?” Answer: Oxychew!
