- They’ve all got one thing in common, the Diamondback® name, which means quality at a great value. But take a look at what makes these optics different to see which one belongs on your rifle.

I miss your Diamondback HP series, especially the 2-8x.
Thanks for taking questions. I hunt deer and elk (in the west), however I also want to take advantage of my Remington 700 with a 22" stainless steel barrel (made for precision shooting). Budget is limited so I'm considering the Diamondback 4-12x40 FFP Tactical or the Diamondback 2ndFP 4-12x40. Do you have a recommendation?
The Diamondback Tactical 4-12x40 only comes in SFP. The FFP option would be the Diamondback Tactical FFP 4-16x44. Both would be great options and honestly would come down to personal preference. If you are primarily going to be taking those further shots (which are very common out West) there would be nothing wrong going with a FFP optic. If you do have the change for some up close shots that is where SFP will have the advantage as even at the lowest magnification you will have the nice large aiming point. I would highly recommend trying to get your hands on both at a dealer to see which one fits you better.
Vortex here in Australia told me that the diamond back tactical , FFP, is just below the pst in quality! , pst is the next level up...... is that right?
is their a way to zero stop the diamondback tactical?
I have a Ruger American go wild edition rifle chambered in 6.5 creedmoor. Shooting distance from 100 to 500 yards. What would be a good choice if i use for hunting deer in the Midwest?
I'm looking for a scope for 22LR shooting at distance 50-300 meters (55-330 yards). I've done a quick research and my candidates are: Vortex Crossfire II 6-24x50 30mm and Vortex Diamondback Tactical 6-24x50 FFP. Is this zoom range proper for this purpose? What are key differences between these scopes? Is my selection ok or should I look for something different?
Hi there - yes, you are looking at a great magnification range for your application. If both are in your budget, the Diamondback Tactical FFP would be the better option as it will be a step up optically and offer features like being FFP and exposed turrets that will certainly be beneficial.
I just purchased a 308 CVA Cascade rifle and my question is I shoot any where from 50 to 150 yards maybe a little more I want to go with vortex and want to stay under 500$ what would you recommend Thank you
ya did great kid!!
Hi. And what about using on Magnum spring rifles, like Diana (RWS) 350 magnum? Will it survive maybe in combination with recoil compensation mount like bullseye ZR? Because scopes like Hawke Sport HD died after 50 shots twice.
Looking to have DIAMONDBACK TACTICAL ON 257 WBY for hunting purpose and some long range training, would you reccomend D end FP 4-14x40, recoil wise?
So are the diamondbacks better then the crossfires? How’s the eye relief on a diamondback 3-9-40 vplex,, Thinking about getting 1
Is a similar comparison planned between the strike eagle 1-6 and the razor 1-6?
Obviously the razor is a more "top of the line" optic, but from a layman's perspective, they seem quite similar on paper.
Here's an older one that's pretty close to what you're getting at - ua-cam.com/video/47KHi5sJArI/v-deo.html Hope this helps!
The regular diamond back has horrible eye relief unless you have a neck like a giraffe and move the scope back as far as it will go
for a 7mm rem mag what would you recommend? hunting primarily 0-500 yards (so I would be dialing from 400-500 roughly) how easy is it for the exposed turrets to be turned if they were to catch on some brush or be bumped? would hate to pull up on an animal in a quick shot situation and have the turret not be zeroed because they caught on some brush and miss. thanks for the help
I would recommend checking out the Razor HD LHT 3-15x42 for your setup. It has a capped windage turret and an exposed elevation turret that locks in place. They are extremely quick and easy to adjust to make shots at different distances.
I have the 4-16x44 mrad Diamondback FFP and am wondering if this is a bad fit for my hunting rifle out here is AZ. I plan on hunting Coues deer and Mule deer where shots can be from 100 to 600 yards
I wouldn't say it's a bad fit. It is truly personal preference. If most of your shots are at those further ranges a FFP would be a great choice! The only downside to using a FFP for a hunting setup is if something is at closer ranges or in a thick area where you are at a lower magnification it could be more challenging to get your reticle on target.
Is this Reticle a BDC Reticle
which vortex rifle scope you recommend for an 18" 6.5 grendel mostly for range shooting?
b skeem crossfire 2
Personally I would go with the vortex Diamondback Tactical
Jeremy Mitchell yeah maybe your right, at least get the Diamondback.
which scope would u recommend for 2-300 yard plinking at the range with ar15
Hey Mike! Did you have a price range in mind?
Alright, alright, alright.😂👊😎🇺🇸
The diamondback sucks its garbage... the diamondback tactical up is good
