650A Handheld Spot Welder

I have the same welder. To make stronger weld, I put one electrode of the welder on to the battery metal other electrode to the nickel plate thus current passing through the nickel makes powerful spot welding.

This thing can barely weld 0.1mm nickel sheets, don't be fooled.

А если большой ток надо, все равно придется медь наращивать. 40А ни никель, ни железяка не выдержат. Перегрев будет.
