The Jersey Shore cast actually really liked this episode when it came out! Especially Mike the Situation and Snooki who got ripped on the hardest. Even Teresa from Real Housewives of NJ said she felt honored to be mocked by the show, so it’s good to know they’ve got a sense of humor and can laugh at themselves.
6:05 This might be one of the funniest Cartman moments ever for me. The way he just immediately reverts to “normal, hurt eight year old who can’t handle pain” is absolutely hilarious both in the context of the character and how much he was egging Kyle on in this episode. Especially the way he whines “KENNIIIIIII,” it just cracks me up every time. 😂
The funny thing is, only one of the cast members was actually from New Jersey. Mike "The Situation" went to my high school, but he was a freshman when I was a senior, so I never knew him.
@@CTag81 Yea and they all had fn Statin Island accents lol but now everyone thinks thats the Jersey accent... but Ive been here 38 years and never met someone who spoke like that.

As a kid I caught one episode of Jersey shore and when I saw snookie I thought she was a gremlin/goblin thing just because of her personality not even her appearance so when I watched this episode I instantly thought, "yup that's her" and the fact that she loves her appearance on the show made it that much better
With Cartman and Kyle addressed, if you two want to look into the origins/backstory of the other boys, here's a list: Stan - Stanley's Cup Butters - Going Native Kenny - Since you guys have already seen "Cartman Joins NAM***", I'll recommend "Kenny Dies" since it is important to the mythos of Kenny.
for those too young to remember, "We got him" was what Obama said to announce them taking out Bin Laden, he walked up to the podium and said "Ladies and Gentlemen, We Got Him" and then proceeded to give specifics.

This was easily the hardest and most you guys were laughing. It's contagious, I was dying. Especially when she said "This is Jersey Shore right here" just waiting for that Snookie part.
The first few seasons of Jersey Shore were pure cinema. No reality show ever held a candle to those first few seasons. As a dude who went to Jersey as a child and in my teens right before the show came out it was hilarious.
Second time in a row, hoping you guys will watch the episode “ the losing edge” primarily a kids as a collective episode, but the B- plot is all Randy and is by far funnier
Related/unrelated. My first Wrestlemania was Wrestlemania 27 in Atlanta Georgia in 2011. Snooki had a tag match and did the “Snooki splash” for the win
As a lifelong NJ resident, I absolutely despise The Jersey Shore. I lived about 7 miles from their house and though there were people like them, they were mostly from out of state. Also, I have never said "I'm from Jersey" or have I personally ever heard another NJ resident say that in person.
LOL, because you live IN Jersey!!! Man, I’m not even kidding, I heard it a few times when I moved to Las Vegas (surprising number of transplants from the Garden State there).

The bit where Kyle changes into a Jersey boy is adapted from the 80's film Teen Wolf, starring Michael J Fox. Possibly the greatest, most 80's film ever made by the way, and it is a film you should definitely react to. Michael J Fox's career was cut short and this film really needs some air time. The concept sounds silly but the movie does have a lot of heart and is a really good window into growing up during that decade. My mum used to put it on for us as kids I think because it had a lot of good messages about being the best version of yourself, cheating/ unfair advantage, and who you surround yourself with. North Playground has so many call backs to all sorts of events and pop-culture. They did a really good one lately starring Mr Mackey and the reinstatement of the Cold War - 80's gold! Mr Mackey gets the odd episode and I have a soft spot for him LOL.
4:56 This is such a classic 80's movie reference, that I don't think our Hosts have seen, so I won't mention the title...No Spoilers! (but if you know, you know).😉
Idc what anyone says, but the original Jersey Shore show was WILDLY entertaining when it came out haha It was just so ridiculous. I think it was only the 3rd reality show I had every seen after The Real World and Survivor.

I remember seeing Pauly D on a podcast (he actually seems pretty normal) and apparently none of them got paid AT ALL to be on the show season 1, and barely paid at all season 2. Working at the T-shirt shop wasn't just part of the plot, it was in their contract to stay on the show so the guy Danny who owned it could get free labor and publicity for his store.
Snooki loved the episode. Making Twitter comments with her saying "Smoosh Smoosh". I imagine the rest of the cast Jersey Shore and the other one probably loved this episode
Snooki has her own store called The Snooki Shop here where I live and it's literally 7mins away from my house lol. I think it's the only one opened so far

Because she doesn't have enough brain cells to know she's being made fun of
