Reason I moved from CT is that properties are mostly outdated, tiny yet very expensive

Blue Valley is indeed a very beautiful estate and conveniently located. However the top Estate in the country is actually in CT called Val De Vie

Yes possibly. But you get more value for money in Jhb estates. R5 to R6m you get a proper Mansion, I can't say the same for estates in CT.
