Man I helped put a final drive assembly in a Volvo 330 LC trackhoe years ago and it was awful. And if I remember right it was in the neighborhood of $30k to fix everything. Crazy how much parts and service costs have risen in the last 10-15 years.

That might be a winter time project. I think all I have to do is add a valve and a cylinder. I'm keeping it pretty busy right now.
