Dignitaries' Addresses | International Holocaust Remembrance Day 2023

This video was created by the Australian Holocaust Museums Association for International Holocaust Remembrance Day 2023.
The theme for the event was keeping memory alive, asking us to keep alive both the voices of Holocaust survivors, and the memories of those murdered. It is not just a call to remember the past, but to reflect on the different ways in which it can inform our actions into the future, inspiring us to combat antisemitism, racism and prejudice in all its forms.
Keeping memory alive also invites us to celebrate the histories and cultures of all communities, acknowledging and honouring our differences to foster a greater understanding and acceptance between peoples and promote human rights into the future.
