Why traffic(can count cars in traffic),English(which is 1 language) & equipment uncountable? 4. Regarding the sentence "I would like 2 pieces of cake", I feel it should be countable because we can count 2 pieces. 5. Regarding the sentence "I see 2 chickens", I feel it should be uncountable because chicken is a food. 6. I have some doubts & posted them in each video in comment section. 7. Please keep making more lectures.
3. Thanks for your comment. We do not make the rules about countable and uncountable, we just teach the rules. 4. A whole cake is countable. I bought 2 cakes. But for pieces it is uncountable. 5. Chicken as a food is uncountable. Chicken as a live animal is countable.

Countable and uncountable noun. Countable noun : the noun we are count. Ex: a car, 10cars. Uncountable : the noun we can't count.ex: water, milk, juice and so on. There are 6 uncountable such as Liquid, Powder, material, food and abstract idea.
