A hiss would be an air leak, or it would be the air coming out of the air bags after the driver hit their brakes real hard and the rear axle took on extra load. Once it stops, the air comes out of the bags and the bus settles back into it's preset height.
Thank you. We have a few of them. VERY nice buses!!! We took the seats out of one and will have it on display at the Tampa Tiny House Festival this next weekend.
There’s one like this still in service at my school it’s a older body tho with the manual jackknife door and the older bluebird control panel and it has brown seat legs and one emergency roof hatch and says stop state law on the back door
@@bgasales ya definitely I’m not sure what year the bus was made but it is well serviced last year it had transmission problems but they got it fixed and it’s been doing great ever sense I just wish they kept older buses in service longer they new stuff is having problems at my school my old bus driver here is having computer problems a lot
My favorite Bluebird school bus alongside with the vision and All-American
What is your favorite bus?
@@bgasales Bluebird All-American FE IC FE Re and CE Bluebird vision Bluebird fs 65 and Thomas EFX HDX EF are C2
One of my favorite body on frames we had tons of these we bought from Arizona in our fleet for almost 10 years
They were built better than most!
Neat. Whoever had this bus certainly got their moneys worth.
This school has a lot of belly storage on all their buses, and also high roofs. Very nice buses!!
Thanks bro for reviewing my favorite bus.
These are your favorite bus?
Ok this bus I want bc I like the rumble sound the engine has. and why are y’all removing the seats in the other 9 row Thomas?

The air rides on those don’t seem to hiss as much as the internationals

The next year, Blue Bird would bring out the Vision. Thomas would continue to use this chassis until 2008, when the C2 came out.
2004*
Nice bus

It is amazing how long a bus can last IF it is properly cared for.

What’s the build date for the body?
2001
In service date? That is the date most customers ask about, if they worry about dates.
