If you happen to try them on both orientations of the tire, it would be an awesome and useful comparison. I have heard there's not noticeable difference regardless of the orientation you use when you are on the pavement but there IS such a difference off-road wise.
Thanks for the review, tough to fined a review that doesn't seem to be attached to a manufacture promotion. I've been running Motoz tractionator on my adventure bikes for many years and been very happy with them. I just about to mount the GPS for the first time as the wife and I are heading from Vancouver BC to Ushuaia next month and obviously need a long lasting tire. Again really appreciate the honest review.
Dropping your rim on the disk side is not a good idea. Just saying. Thanks for the gps info. I am thinking about getting it now before the sh!t hits the fan.

Just put one on the rear of my 2016 Africa Twin on the weekend. Keen to see how it goes compared to the Mitas E07+ (non in stock this time). Did you put a tractionater GPS on the front?
mike dew No I run the TKC80 up front because I want something more aggressive on the front to prevent washouts off-road and the gps front is not aggressive enough.
I used the matching front on my SuperTen', and whilst it seems to work okay it also seemed to send high frequency vibes thru the bars which became tiresome on the highway on the return journey of a 7200 km (Albany-Esperance-Kalgoorlie- Wiluna-Shay Gap-Derby- Gibb River Rd and to Kununurra then return to Perth on the highway-Western Australia) trip. Still plenty of tread left front and rear, running 30 psi off road and 32/40 on the highway. Would easily survive an east - west trip Perth to Sydney and return, even in high temps.
Very good, especially considering the tread pattern and the (little) amount of rubber on the road. In the wet too. The traction control intervenes quite a lot but mostly un-noticeable. Friends on road bikes with road tyres are amazed at how these GPS tyres perform & jokingly say, maybe they should fit them to their bikes :)
As Peter states it is excellent on the road considering its capabilities off road. It’s no super sport tire obviously but I would put it up against any tire rated for 70% on Road and 30% off road with its on road capabilities in mind if that makes any sense. In other words very little road compromise for how well it does off-road unlike most other tires rated this high for off-road capability.
It’s good. It’s not a straight tire but it’s way better than it should be considering how well it does off road and at no point is it ever scary but always predictable.
@@underthestarsericlarson8369 I never ran it in the 50/50 direction, only the "more off road" direction. I thought it was smooth though and not rough at all.
I never had them in deep sand and being that my bike load it out the way I normally ride it weighs close to 600 pounds I would imagine it would not be the best choice. I have been through some sand and they did good for what I would consider a 60% off-road tire.

Great review. Thanks much.
Very useful review, thanks a lot!
Have one on my tiger 800 with 10,000+km on it and nowhere near worn out will probably trade it in with this tyre on it
Thank you
I'm in WA as well so that helps in the review
Thank for the review. By chance, have you compared with the Dunlop missions? Thanks

4/32"? Come on USA, join the 20th century!
Makes perfect sense to me.
I have no idea of how much those weird numbers stand for neither 😂 but that aside, it's a good short review 👍🏼
I think its like cubits... so probably Egyptian origins 🤣😂🤣
4/32=.125 inch. Google inch to mm and you get 3.175mm

Looks brand new on the sides. Still has the chicken strips.
5600 😮 squared off and still has the original rubber tags on the edges 🤷🏻♂️
Sorry maybe I missed it but which direction do you have them fitted, 50/50 or or the more dirt oriented direction?
More dirt oriented direction.

The new Tractionator Dual Venture front is an exciting pairing
Did you actually say how many miles that tire had on it?
Yes, 5600 miles.
how is the gps on the twisties??? thanks in advance. this would be for a gs

How's the wet cornering on road with dirt oriented direction?

@@chaindrive6608 I have heard that it is rougher riding in off road orientation, did you notice it?

Are you running this as TUbliss?
No, its a tubed tire.
