Chris, crocodiles are usually found in rivers and swamps in the southern parishes of Jamaica. Black River in St. Elizabeth and Milk River in Clarendon have healthy populations. Rio Cobre, sections of Portmore and Hellshire in St. Catherine have some as well. There is also a crocodile sanctuary in St. Thomas.

Every parish does this one pot meal a little differently. I remember my parents preparing this when I was young. Half the ingredients they put in it is not in the one you consumed. You would go crazy when the old folks prepare it, especially when they use saltfish instead of chicken.
